    Interesting @Lozz196 that you have transitioned to a Jazz and your bandmates feel its lower/deeper. That’s exactly the opposite to my experience. I think my bandmates could pick out the notes better rather than feel them, but I like the good old fashioned thump. And if you favour the neck pickup, then perhaps you do too?

    I tried out the open mic night at Derby Market Hall. Every last Thursday of the month and this was the second one.The market hall is a magnificent Victorian building, recently reopened after a multi-million pound renovation. Every slot from 6pm until the 10pm shutdown was taken. At its peak, probably about 75 people there. The acoustics aren’t good, but no surprises there.

    I will the usage graph of the lifecycle of this amplifier will be a ruler flat line of inactivity til this week from its birth ,….to a sudden exponential curve of use and enjoyment I can asssure you! Through the Di out the GP11 pre sounds very similar through my mixing desk to my old 1008 (8x10 ) combo DI out from 1983. I think it’s wonderful….. Thanks for your lovely comments.

    You know, everyone, I absolutely adore reading through this thread. Seeing how everyone goes about gigging in their different ways, with so many different bands and styles on offer; I even enjoy the reports of gig by bands who play genres that I wouldn't play myself, because there's always something to be learned. Seeing what you lot get up to at your gigs is a real highlight of my (usually) weekend, and I wish I was out there gigging again. Thanks very much for sharing your experiences with the rest of us!

    Selling my Blackstar head only because I've finally got the amp I've always wanted an Ampeg SVT head so sadly the Blackstar has to go, it's 16 months old and used but never abused in great condition,as you can see it has the carry bag and foot switch for distortion, overdrive,fuzz, chorus etc. Collection preferably but will meet within reason or post.

    That's about right. The regulations around debit vs credit cards differ and also related to amount. But yeah - never leave cash with a dealer before you have the goods in your hands.

    It’s a thick, gnarly, and harmonically rich fuzz … Based on the Tall Font Green Russian/ Civil War Muff circuit … So strong with that mix friendly mid character, and retaining the low end that makes this particular Muff so bass-friendly. This one is indeed bass friendly. There’s something more to this pedal though. The secret sauce is in the tone sweep. As DBA put it … “A specially designed multi-curve shaping filter which changes the timbre of the pedal from super deep bass sludge to screaming highs”. This makes for something more versatile than your average 3-knob Muff, sure. It’s killler. Plenty love for it out there anyway. Check the reviews.
