Wireless Guitar Systems & Wireless Ears?
dudewheresmybass replied to AlexDelores's topic in Accessories and Misc
I'm using a shure glxd+ system for instruments and xvive u4 for iem. never had any issues. -
i use mine for Mama I'm coming home - the intro Anything Duff has played on.

Yes, the sound is definitely cleaner with much better high frequency content.

Or perhaps 'Fender Tax or another two personally-spec'd bass builds?' I'm not a fan of brands in general, particularly slapped on what amount to little more than mix & match parts-box basses - as all Fender designs have become.

Electro-Harmonix Clone Theory Vintage Chorus Pedal NYC Made 70’s/80’s This is the one made famous in the 80’s by musicians including Peter Hook, John McGeoch and again later by Kirk Cobain. You can get sweeping chorus, subtle vibrato, to mad flange and synth like sounds from this unit. It’s a hard wired mains unit and the casing has plenty of dings and touch ups to the paint. It works perfectly and sounds great. These are quite rare now. I’ve owned two and this is the one that is all original. It’s an old pedal and like most vintage EH gear a bit noisy but it’s not a particular issue for live gigs.

Found an old plank in the shed to practice on. Also found a potential solution for the corners - got a 1/4" cutter, if I poke it far enough out of the collet then there will hopefully be enough shaft (stop sniggering at the back, you!) poking down below the baseplate of the router then it should not cut into the template but follow it as if it had a bearing. Dunno if the radius will be small enough, but it'll be closer than the 1/2" cutter I'll be using for the initial routing. That's tomorrow's fun though - got a band rehearsal now.

Please help before I throw my pedalboard out the window 🤣
fretmeister replied to bassben1's topic in Effects
I've been using it since the day it was available. I have run multiple paths, different EQ and compression settings etc etc. It still can't do a good Fuzz Face - and that's at full guitar volume, let alone the way a FF reacts to guitar volume being changed when it's first in the chain. TBF I don't think any modeller has cracked that yet. -

White pickguards. Hofner violin basses. Classified ads that lead with Fender Squier instead of Squier by Fender. Passive pickups being called active ones just because the bass has a preamp installed. That massive swelling on the Fender headstock. I have a Fender. Bartolini pickups. It bothers me that they turn up on some REALLY nice basses. The price of 70s Fenders compared to eye-witness reports of how awful a lot of them were when new. Ernie Ball will NOT give Stingray 5 customers 19mm bridge string spacing.
