  1. Past hour
  2. Pm’d earlier RE Broughton 👍🏻
  3. Wise works fine, but depending on the amount the fees can hit the receiver. If you want another option to compare, check out Ria Money Transfer. I’ve used it for US → Canada before, money landed quick and the fees were lower than what I got with Wise. Worth running the numbers side by side before sending.
  4. So I went with A for the front. It’s a thin body (32mm) and slightly smaller than a P size so it will be an interesting project to see how everything fits. I will definitely have to go for lightweight tuners to combat neck dive. Part of me is thinking about doing a short scale.
  5. My dear father named our cat after the neighbours just do he could annoy them when calling for her to come in
  6. Hi, I hadn't included postage tbf
  7. The bass gallery have got a few CARs in , I’m not familiar with Bob Daisley
  8. No sooner had I read the comments, my wife gets an email, Cloudbusting gig cancelled until February next year, gutted. I was so looking forward to it too.
  9. On a pedal that can do a billion different things - What’s “that” sound?
  10. This too is my first time using an amp with a fender style tone stack. From what I understand (both from reading reviews and for my own experience) the mid knob is a cut, not a boost. Don't be afraid to turn that sucker up! And then dial up your bass and treble to find the unity tone you're looking for. The input gain and master volume knobs also work linearly from 0 to 10 unlike a lot of amps that don't do too much past 6 or 7. Really don't be afraid of the input game on either channel. The amp can handle it and they make a huge difference as far as bringing out more harmonic frequencies making the same volume feel louder and fuller. Another thing you can do is make sure that your impedance switch matches whichever cabs you are using. Makes a huge difference in not only damping and volume but also feel and fullness. I hate that I have been working as much as I have been this week I've only had one night since I picked mine up a couple of days ago to really play it. Very happy that it was the night that I got it otherwise the anticipation would have killed the But I did get to play it for hours and found it to be one of the best sounding amps I've ever played. Can get wooly and gritty that can also get that nice fat low gain saturation and stay clean with plenty of headroom. I still need more time with the tone controls myself just to get a better feel for them but don't be afraid to turn them all the way up when finding what you want! It is a very different tone stack to get used to but if you put the time in it is very rewarding! I can't wait to spend more time with mine!
  11. Despite not being remotely into the Rolling Stones, I do have a soft spot for Keith Richards. Been reading this afternoon and have been going through the solo albums. I'm currently on an excellent bootleg of a radio broadcast of the Winos live in Boston in 1993. So good.
  12. Gorgeous bass, and that looks even better in the flesh. GLWTS.
  13. Joyo Ironman Rushing Train mini pedal, mint condition, complete with box. This is a Vox style amp sim pedal. It's essentially a mini version of their ACTone pedal, one of a series including the American Sound, British Sound, Oxford Sound and Californian Sound. I read somewhere that these were, in turn, based on the Tech 21 "Character" series of preamp pedals, but I can't vouch for that. So if you want that Vox-ish sound in mini format, this is the pedal for you. £20 posted within UK.
  14. Good luck. It seems a story with a happy ending, albeit a lot of hassle for you.
  15. Have to agree.
  16. Must agree with @Stub Mandrel above. A deaf person running for a bus would be hard-pushed to tell the difference. If I need an oscilloscope to pick between them, the punters down the Maggot and Corpse won't notice either.
  17. Analog cab simulation, very tweakable, includes adjustable HPF, EQ, it works as a headphone amp, and with TS and balanced XLR outputs. Great condition, just a bit dusty...
  18. The title tune is stunning, Dave.
  19. One of the best tracking octavers I've tried. Usual OCT1/OCT2 plus blend. Great condition.
  20. Independently footswitchable clean boost + VLE (low pass filter) and VPF (a bit like a 'contour' control, scooping mids while boosting low/highs). Standard TS output plus balanced DI output (XLR). Original MarkBass power supply included (but it works fine on standard 9V supplies - I used it for years with a T-Rex Junior supply, you just get a bit more headroom if powwered at 12V) Bypass can be buffered or true-bypass (switch at the bottom).

  21. Classic bass synth pedal. It's seen a lot of action and it has a few marks and scratches, but it's only cosmetic.
  22. I confirm the box/papers exist and will be included
  23. It's bad enough shouting for "Panda", "Pandora" would be dreadful!
  24. Hi, nice selection of pedals. Is any postage to UK included at all please? Peace.
  25. You won’t be disappointed.
