  1. Past hour
  2. Felt sorry for Steve when his bass had no sound in The Number of the Beast intro for a few sec. Otherwise one of the best Maiden gig I've been to. Ordered this one to the Future Past tour in 2023 at at O2. I also found Steve's bass sounded better, more bass rather than highs. At least how it sounded to me.
  3. From 1985, I really love how he approaches this track…
  4. I'm not a huge fan of his slap all of the time. 3 Deuces is fantastic. Thankyou I will check those out.
  5. Fender Tone Stack, no? Like an Alembic Preamp. But with rocket power bolted on.
  6. As new in original packaging. A nice bit of kit but no longer needed. Price includes UK postage.
  7. I hope I didn't piss off the neighbours, I turned it up and played along from Like A Hurricane... Mind you I expect they were watching so they probably just think his bassist is a bit crap 🤣
  8. I really want to keep this but have a few projects at home that need attention so looking to shed a few bits. Wicked pedal with knight fall, tarkin and T65 Octaver. All with individual clean blends, plus a master blend, and a master on/off switch. Effects stack in parallel for an absolute wall of awesomeness. Controls are really intuitive and easy to navigate. Velcro on underside, really wicked artwork. It's a wonderful pedal. I'll wrap box and post carefully. Any questions please shout. Selling cheaper than purchased, price includes postage second class. Can meet between Kettering, Bedford, Stevenage, Farnham areas of UK, or pass to my singer in north London... Drummer west London.... Blurb from cog website: Hellraiser" Custom Bass Multi-Effects Grand Tarkin Bass Fuzz, Knightfall Distortion and T-65 Octave all in parallel. Four level controls for mixing Dry signal, with only one ever active depending on which combination of effects are selected. This is very much an expansion on the concept of the T-65 Octave and parallel sub octave in general. Artwork is an adaptation of the Puzzle Box from the 1987 film Hellraiser, with oversized Moog-style knobs to finish things off.

  9. Country to rock to grunge, and masterly across all
  10. Playing a squier I think. Awesome
  11. That was a proper rock n roll band 👍
  12. I've read the the same thing here and there, and always along the lines of "it degrades the sound" but with no specifics. I've just tested my Stomp with phantom power from my audio interface, and it sounded the same to me either way 🤷‍♂️. It also didn't explode, which was nice! Depending on stage layout and who's providing the bass amp, I sometimes use a short TRS - XLR cable, and other times an Orchid Electronics DI box
  13. Two songs: Friends and strangers Rio funk I don't like his solo work, but as a sideman he plays the right notes.
  14. Drummer’s BVs are spot on
  15. The power of his lyrical repertoire puts the attention seeking rants of others in their place
  16. they really look and sound like a band rather than spread over acres of stage, excellent. not a massive fan of NY but probably should be
  17. I've never seen Neil Young live. I always thought he could never live up to Live Rust, especially as he grew older. Feck. I was wrong. That's real festival music. And his last two songs...
  18. The NY set has got better and better as it's gone on. What a band. Willie Nelson's son on guitar.
  19. That Tom Peterson White Falcon 😍
  20. Looks to me like a Mexican made neck so your JMJ ones should fit fine.
  21. He’s not that under the radar ! The pesky rascal snuck into my house and scrawled his name on my Sire v7!
  22. My thoughts exactly 👍
  23. Got this on a recent trade but now surplus to my requirements since acquiring my Anagram. May also consider trading this for a Cali76 V2 silver. Just message me! Free postage! Kind regards, Chad

  25. Hi Chris, Seems I don’t automatically get a notification when someone replies! I’ve PM’d you the number. Terry
  26. It occurred to me I had no idea who was playing bass on some of my favourite records. by my suprise I found out it was Marcus Miller. Thing is he's so under the radar session wise, you would never know it was him playing and in his session days that's what made him great. He just played it for the record. There are 500 albums out there of Marcus's playing. Please share if you know. ? One of my favourite Jazz funk records. Its utter magic and his bass playing is just.🔥
  27. I was really looking forward to the Brandi Carlisle set, but, my god she cant sing in tune to save her life. What a shame.
