    Has anyone taken the standard neck ‘bolts’ which are really woodscrews and replaced them with proper bolts and inserts like Montys or Nek tite? I like proper engineering and whilst I know the woodscrews have been used for decades but these products claim to increase sustain and tone. i like the idea I could torque them identically. Thoughts?

    With those setting is the compressor doing anything apart from what looks like a lot of high pass filtering - I think it's about 400 Hz when all the way to the right?

    Cheers mate . I think this one will be ok . As you recognised the CF I had to rack my brains a bit . It has just dawned on me 😁 . I never chuck anything away that may be of some use in the future . And I have a habit of overbuying when in the madness of a project . I'm sure you know how it is Rob ............

    (I don't have nor have ever tried that type of Bass Pedal ) yes I agree that switch 2 and 3 are adding unwanted noise a few years back I had a chorus pedal doing a similar thing (Tech 21) and I "solved" that by how it was powered , IIRC it exclusively used it's own output from the power brick good luck

    And, folks, Like, Share and Subscribe etc, as from my point of view I think the content is much better than many other UK bass channels. I learn stuff from most of Brooksy's content that other UK bass Youtubers just can't match. There are UK bass YouTubers whose content just makes me think that I should pull my finger out and do a bit myself. Support the quality Youtubers.
