Took me ages for the cough to go and it left me with a lot of mucus for a while too. Probably why i had the cough. On another note my first holiday romance was from Crook and i can still remember her address too from back in 70's when i was a youngster. I remember the address as we used to write each other back in the dark ages. Oh happy days and what a memory i have 😂 Dave I've been told it's sometimes not being picked up by the tests as it's mutated so much, who knows? 🙄🤔 What I do know is I've never ailed for anything as long as I have with this last bout 😖 That is indeed a great memory you have Dave, what a blast from your past! 👍🏼 1 Quote
Thor Posted Sunday at 21:52 Posted Sunday at 21:52 We, Siren, played at The Constitutional Club in Chippenham Saturday night, crowd was a little on the small side but they responded well and made it a good night. Used my TT800 and BF big twin II, chose to use my surf green MIM P Bass which sat very nicely in the mix - bloody hot in there! 19 Quote

mep Posted Monday at 06:46 Posted Monday at 06:46 Indeed @Stub Mandrel, that's what our previous drummer had. He's says they are expensive, but the price will give him peace of mind. The conundrum is how come the kick drum was fine the first time out. We have some time before our next gig to sort this out. 2 Quote

BigRedX Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago On Saturday Hurtsfall played at the OxJam festival in Beeston. Over 100 acts split across multiple venues, this is the 3rd year we've been asked to play. This time we were on at 3.30pm at The Berliner, the second band of the afternoon at that venue. Not the easiest of load-ins with the venue being very busy so there was nowhere really to leave our gear where it wasn't in someone way. However it turned out that lots of the people were there specifically to see us play which was very gratifying. Just about enough time between bands to get set up and line-checked. Technical problems of the previous weekend were behind us and we played well, and even felt brave enough to open with our newest song which most of our audience wouldn't have heard before. We're taking a break from gigging until the end of November to work on new material and for recording the album. 5 Quote
