bgmttt Posted November 14 Posted November 14 (edited) Here is my new part bass I finished recently and which make me proud of: Warmoth body, Musikraft neck, nitro paint, Fralin splitcoil. The design, paintwork and the printing I made with the help of my wife. Enjoy it! Edited November 14 by bgmttt 27 Quote
itu Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Excellent and slightly different in a very good way. Me like! (and I love a dark neck with no dots) 1 Quote

Beedster Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Lovely, somewhere between Dusty Hill and Dusty Springfield! Good taste in components also 👍 2 1 Quote
velvetkevorkian Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Beautiful work, the way the graphic follows the shape of the body is lovely. 1 Quote

I'd also like to know what printer it is because maybe there's someone local who can do the same - I have a ton of ideas that would work with this approach that I've been reluctant to approach with printed vinyl. 1 Quote

Richard R Posted November 15 Posted November 15 (edited) Just looked those up. Not a piece of hobbyist equipment, but very impressive. Presumably you clear coat varnish afterwards to protect the paint? You mentioned help from your wife, is she the artist or does she own a a print shop? Or both? Sometimes I think it would be great to work in something other than IT. Then I remember how much I like food and shelter! Hats off to you both, but especially your wife the artist. 2 Quote

I’ve always thought “millionaire playboy aristocrat” would be a good swap … compare and contrast … reading/writing code, talking to users, hoping you get your bonus and that nothing bad happens over Xmas versus getting up at lunchtime, endless sexual partners and having a bath in actual money whilst sipping the finest wines available to humanity hmm…tough choice Edited November 19 by Geek99 3 Quote
