PainInTheBass Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I heard a person playing some epic slap bass in Horsham yesterday afternoon but I was in a rush to get to an appointment so couldn't stop to watch. By the time I got back they had packed up and gone. A rare thing to encounter a busking bassist, especially of that calibre. Has anyone come across this particularly gifted busker before and knows who they are? If so could you point me in the direction of any Facebook/YouTube/other socials links? Many thanks 🙏 👍 Quote
BassTractor Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) Could that be Isaiah Brown by any chance? In a YT vid, he plays a lefty Sire Marcus Miller M5. Edited 18 hours ago by BassTractor 1 Quote
tubbybloke68 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I live in Horsham, I saw the kid a couple of years ago and he’s pretty handy! Don’t know who he is but very unusual (and pleasant) to see a bass only busker 😊.x 1 Quote
Mykesbass Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Possibly the guy I saw in Bognor a couple of years back. Hugely talented, but what a racket. 1 Quote

I looked him up and found a video of him. That could be the guy. Some of the fills he played sound strikingly similar. 1 Quote

Cliff Edge Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Busking. Bass players are a rarity. I’ve seen one in Hastings late last year noodling along to some jazzy backing tracks on a battered Jazz bass. Quote
