It`s a fake from a factory in China selling on E bay. It`s says so down in the description. It doesn`t actually say it`s a fake but I do know a real one costs a few bob.

Chinese factories selling on eBay. . . . what you see is not always what you get.

 

There was an article about people buying clothes from Chinese companies and a totally different design turned up. Good luck returning the product and getting a refund!! You'll find the postage back to China prohibitive.

I thought all this stuff but some Chinese factories do good copies and you would not expect high quality for that price. Just happens to be my dream acoustic guitar….never heard the bass

I’m not aware of the maker or the model, but I’m guessing the design brief was “can you make a bass out of my nan’s side table and lamp?”.

You are trying to tick the boxes and are only considering the positives. 

 

Look at it from  the other angle, what can go wrong, and what will you do when it does! Tick all the negative boxes and then decide if you want to risk your cash.

There's been a few threads from Basschatters who have taken a punt on this sort of thing from Chinese online marketplaces over the years.

 

My impression is it's a bit of gamble, while some have been pretty pleased with what turned up, I think most of the instruments have required at least some additional work to get them up to standard.

 

And , as pointed out above, if you're unhappy enough to want to send it back or nothing turns up at all then the usual consumer protections may well not apply with a Chinese based exporter

What a f***ing awful looking instrument, frets aren't even parallel (might be photo), plus why such a wide neck, could easily fit another string on there

It looks like a Fender width neck but the bridge is a narrow-spaced Hofner type. It'd be resolved by putting a 19mm spaced bridge on there.
