Naturally, getting the train, I'd be travelling light, so one bass, possibly a small amp and maybe a few pedals. I don't know what folk would be interested in trying that I own as since quite a lot of it is "pointy," or dare I say it, "mental," it does sometimes put people off.

Well, most of my collection is a bit mental so I'll list the more weird ones. I'll list them in "declining pointy order" if you want. Pictures to hand of the first 2 if you want a laugh.

Not promising anything, but I’ll talk to the management. Assuming that a mere Sire V7 might interest someone in such otherwise august company of Sei, top bracket fenders and  so on 

 

The lady of chateau geek is going to Devon in a few weeks so I don’t see why I can’t take 1.5 days off (I need to take the drive slowly as I’m not allowed to drive too far in one go for medical reasons) 

 

what time is kickoff?

2. vintage est96a (punches above its weight as judged by basschat midlands massive and @Stub Mandrel)

Definitely bringing the Brawley 5 and 4 string basses. Rarely seen in the UK, except at Bass Bashes.

Will bring the Roland V-bass system fitted on an HB MusicMan-like, if I still have it. This is huge fun and does a pretty good impersonation of many other basses in a live mix. It's going up for sale next week though.
