I've suddenly come to my senses and decided to keep the bass.

I just sat down and played it for a while and it made me realise that this bass plays and sounds better than any of the other precisions I currently have, and have owned in the past, and I know I would have to pay a lot of money to get another one as good as this.

I really am intent on thinning out my collection and I have three other basses up for sale at the moment, with another bass going up for sale in the next few days, but this particular bass must stay with me for a while yet.

Thanks for all the interest shown in the bass, and sorry for any inconvenience caused to anyone who has contacted me in the hope of buying the bass.

This looks fantastic - would look even better with a set of Status black tapewounds. If I hadn't just bought back my Overwater Jazz I would probably be all over this....
I put some on in the past and it really looked the business, but with my eyesight, I couldn't see them in poor lighting, and not having any fret markers didn't help either.

But you are right, it really is a nice looking bass and plays brilliantly.

I wouldn't buy it...we know Brian is the meanest man on this forum. Who else would deliberately advertise this for sale just after somebody (well, me actually) has paid out for 2 basses - nice basses admittedly - so needs NOT to spend any money. You really wouldn't want to do business with somebody like that, now would you??

Brian, I hope that your internet connection goes down and you're unable to receive any emails...

Everybody else...STOP LOOKING AT THIS AD!!

Still, far blacker than any other "all black" bass I've seen for sale here or elsewhere else. Are there side dots along the edge of the fretboard?
Yes, but only visible from the playing position of course :)

Someone needs to buy this, replace the pickup with a DiMarzio (with the black pole-pieces), tapewound strings, and black frets (or convert to fretless with Ebony lines haha.

Then it's finished ;)
