I don't think this news has been posted here before...

In case anyone didn't know, last weekend Wunjo Bass moved from their shop at 22 Denmark Street into the basement of No. 23, below the keyboards shop.

I've written a blog post about the move with a bunch of photographs on my Denmark Street project site, Street of Sound

A couple of pics as a teaser:

Thanks Rob - must visit one of these days. :) I see that no matter how big the new room, it's already filled to capacity with basses! :D

They're forming a Basement Jaxx tribute act, to be called Basement Tomz ...

Bit too close to Soho for a name like that!!!

Visited the shop this afternoon, said hi to the Toms, saw a lot of nice basses! Lefty models are well represented. I managed to stop myself from going home with a gorgeous lefty Streamer, at least this time. Happy Jack's GAS had the better of him, though, so we now have a new bass family member awaiting its photo session and NBD thread...  :gas:

And there's Tom R. Toe and Tom Bowler.

Ah Tom Bowler, purveyor of fine meat, washing baskets, and also decent prizes I never win at social club and holiday camp gigs.

Tom O'Stik there?

** three if you include V&R.

V&R isn't there any more, it's quite helpfully called "No Tom Vintage & Classic Guitars", seriously. https://notomguitars.com/

What's in the previous Wunjo bass shop now by the way?
Nothing for now. The building is being stripped out and refurbished with a full electric rewire.

Wunjo will be moving back when it's done.
