dmccombe7 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Saw this band on a Country & Western show before Xmas and thought i'd buy this album. Definitely a great album with every song enjoyable. No bad ones. It's not my usual kind of music but i have a couple of albums in similar vane now. Dave 1 Quote
vbance Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Just love this gig from World Party, Chris Sharrock and "Paul" from The Bootleg Beatles supply D&B. The late Karl Wallinger up front. Not sure of the other members. Quote
SteveXFR Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Something to consume by Die Spitz. Seamlessly blending stoner metal and punk. Absolutely brilliant. They've got some thoroughly disgusting bass tones. The band members are all multi instrumentalists and regularly swap instruments so theres various playing styles going on with each instrument. Quote
Homatron Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Having been on a bit of a jazz bender for months, I've just been shaken out of it by Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs! 2 Quote

ezbass Posted January 23 Posted January 23 90125 by Yes. One of those rare albums that doesn't have a duff/meh track on it (IMO of course). 3 Quote
knirirr Posted January 23 Posted January 23 This afternoon I felt like listening to the '92 Seville blues night again. It was great when I heard the original broadcast; I'd not heard of some of these players before. 1 Quote

lowdown Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I stumbled on this 'Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen' solo Double Bass concert earlier. It's quite astonishing really (IMO, of course). The performance tracks are laid out in chapters. All in all, about 75 minutes long: 1 Quote
SumOne Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) I'm loving this: "Every Saint's a sinner, we all have our past. Forever is a fiction, nothing lasts." Edited January 27 by SumOne Quote
HornetPinata Posted January 28 Posted January 28 (edited) Probably still my all time favourite album. Edited January 28 by HornetPinata poorly constructed sentence Quote
cetera Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago This is so much more than any claim of nepotism..... and they are so much better than they have any reasonable right to be. Great song and feel, fantastic harmonies and a cool late 60's/early 70's Crosby, Stills & Nash vibe. Love it and looking forward to their debut album. Evan Stanley (Son of Paul Stanley of KISS) and Nick Simmons (Son of Gene Simmons of KISS). KISS haters, keep your comments to yourself... 2 Quote
