But i ain't sure this is true. I think i'm well educated musically, up to degree (classical), Hnd Jazz, grade 8 etc. I know plenty of musicians who haven't done that and they just blow me away even if tho they don't have what is considered, not by me, as proper understanding. Also i have a relative who studied clarinet at Yale in America under some specialist, is genuinely world class and played in all the big orchestra.
