jojoagogo234 Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 just the other day, i decided that the stickers on my cort action ( my fav bass/ first one ) that i put on about 5 years ago were getting a bit old. i then decided to take them off........ subdude Posted December 19, 2011 Share Posted December 19, 2011 use a hair dryer to remove the stickers, that will help you geting them off easyer and in one piece. any kitchen oil like olive or sunflower on a bit of cotton will easy remove the residual glue. use scratch remover if necessary and buff with some polish. lettsguitars Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 (edited) furniture polish is the all time best way to remove sticky sh**t from any finish. lighter fluids (naptha) and white spirit could cause all kinds of mess. And you end up with a nice smelling bass. Ladle it on and leave it for 15 minutes, wipe and repeat.
