Hey you lot

Hello, and welcome to the site.
3. Yes, be careful if you raise the height of your pickups, I did this once and seemed fine at home noodling, but when I played a gig the strings were hitting the pickups at times, and there was defiantly some weird sonic stuff going on!
4. Thanks chaps, Chris that's very kind mate, pm on its way
5. Wow! Really nice work, like it a lot !
6. I have a bone type effect board which has Velcro fixed to it, I am having trouble with my pedals coming off and just ending up loose in the bag, Any recommendations for decent stuff?
7. Thanks, good luck with the sale.
8. Pretty much as I thought really, it seem to be assembling the parts from elsewhere, didn't like the decals either, think it was the combo of cream jazz with pearl scratch plate, white pickup covers that sucked me in!
9. Well this thread got me to watch a hawkwind documentary last night, didn't really know anything about them..... wow what a colourful past they have had! They did some crazy sh*t! Fair play!
10. Hi what is the weight please? And where was it made?
11. Anyone had any experience of them? They have a Facebook page that I have liked as they seem to have some lovely looking stuff.
12. I have a ring that I only wear at gigs, I call it my....wait for it.... Gig ring! Yep that's the one!
13. Beautiful, never played one, but bet they sound amazing!
14. He is brilliant, been following him for a couple of years now, would love a couple of face to face lessons off him!
15.
More expensive = much better. Obvious, innit. Apple has built a whole business empire around that principle, so that proves it. Bottom line - people like shiny new things and if they have some spare cash they'll look for ways to spend it, whatever their particular interests. Could be a 'better' car, suit, handbag, jewellery, whatever. I seriously doubt that an electric bass is the limiting factor in anyone's playing (assuming it's well set up), except perhaps for that elusive 'feel good' factor helping you to play better. I reckon Pino could pick up my Fender MIJ precision and play anyone off the stage with it, but I wouldn't be any better if I played his bass. Fact is, it's talent and ability that hold most people back, not their gear, but gear is something that's easy to change so that's what people do. This
18. Best way to get better is to get together with other musicians, you will gain more than you ever will from anything else!
