Hi, i'm looking to sell/trade my recently aquired Ibanez SR1306. Padauk body, wenge/bubinga neck, (EMG) IBZ Lo-J6 jazz pu's. It's a 1993 model in very good shape, it looks the part and the sound is superb for an instrument in this price range. I recently got this in a trade here on BC and the bass owes me around 550£ in trade value, but as i've discovered a small flaw since i got it - transport damage - (there's a small crack in the wood right next to the bottom poti-knob -see last picture for close-up- ) i am willing to let it go for less. Looking for 450£ incl. shipment or trade with a quality 5string of equal or higher value (can ad up to 350£ in cash if needed), a trade with a warwick corvette 5 string (bubinga/wenge) has my preference, but will consider other offers as well. Pictures: https://picasaweb.go...0/IbanezSr1306# SPECS: BODY PADAUK NECK 5Pc BUBINGA /WENGE SR6 SCALE 34'' FRETBOARD WENGE INLAY PEARL DOT BRIDGE TAILPIECE / NUT GOTOH 6 STRING HARDWARE COSMO BLACK PICKUP CONFIG J-J PICKUP'S IBZ J6 IBZ J6 VARI MID PREAMP (VOL – BAL- BASS TREBLE STACKED – PARAMETRIC MID STACKED) FINISHES PD (PADAUK) The bass comes with it's original Ibanez hardcase, one of the 4 locks is missing - this also must have happened during transport- ,but all in all it is still in pretty good nick for it's age. Let me know if you have any more questions. Kind regards https://picasaweb.go...0/IbanezSr1306#

I only just got this and allthough this is probably one of the most easy to play 6 string fretless basses around, i underestimated the transition from playing fretted to fretless a lot... (i used to play a cheap fretless guitar when i was a kid so i thought that i would be able to adapt fairly easy, but it turns out that it takes a lot more work and practice than i imagined...) I'm still trying to get the hang of it and when i manage to get the fingerplacement right it does sound truly awesome! I'm sure i would be able to get it right it if i spend a lot more time with her, but at the moment i'm still having lots of intonation issues when i play with my (up-tempo) band and therefore i'm thinking of trading this for a fretted 5 string (or maybe a really good fretted 4 string) as me and my bandmates might not have the patience to wait untill my muscle memory adapts to the fretless board... Will consider other offers, but prefer trade offers concerning Roscoe, Zon, Warwick or similar modern basses, but a passive Sandberg jazz could tempt me into a trade as well. Will consider 4 string trades , but it'll have to be a very good 4 string to convince me as i have a new found love for the B-string since i played the Roscoe 6. The bass is still in the same near mint condition as it was in on the original picture's and she comes with a Roscoe formfit hardcase, Fender Deluxe straplocks an extra set of poti-knobs and a wide padded leather strap. cash price: 950£ incl. EU/UK shipment trade value: 1050 - 1100£ I'm going back to practice now (god knows i need it! ) so send me a PM if you have anymore questions or want to talk about a trade of some sort. kind regards, Donovan.

TRADED!! Genz Benz Streamliner 900
Bassdude BE replied to pantherairsoft's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
Don't do it Shep! If you exchange the Streamliner for a Fafner you will never be able to close the trunk of your band-car next time you guys go on tour!! It was already stuffed to the max this time , if you're going to ad another 10 inches of amp to that car the backdoor will probably blow off while driving to your next gig... You guys were great in Antwerp btw. kind regards, Donovan -
