3. Here are my babies, I used to be a Warwick player, but I'm absolutely hooked on GMR basses now and I now have serious G.A.S. for a GMR 5 string as well...
4. Sorry Zvirus, but I've heard the company has since moved to the U.K., here's a message from Daniel himself posted on this very forum,so I think your information might be a little bit outdated?... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi chaps, glad you like our basses. We have indeed moved the whole company to the UK. We thought, we'll try to go against the flow, and rather then try to find some way's of making bigger profit producing them using cheaper labor or materials for example , we'll forever try to improve our 'babies'. Quality of finish, materials and components used are very important to us, thus the move. Also having the showroom or 'the HQ' as we call it, on Denmark Street, means easy access to our basses for people interested. Specially voiced John East preamps are being fitted as a standard feature now. Also there's a wide range of different pick up options available, although I do swear by Bassculture Pickups. They hand made , by Christoff in Germany, near Dusseldorf. Lovely guy as well. P-up maniac :-). Daniel ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can find the original post (with some pictures of my 2 GMR basses in the thread as well) here: http://basschat.co.u...rience-of-them/ kind regards, Donovan
5.
Beautiful ... where is it made ?
GMR basses used to be made in Poland , but the company has recently moved to the U.K. and the prices have increased enormously over the last couple of years. I have already bought two GMR basses of Koval, and both basses look and sound superb! To me they are comparable with the Warwick custom shop sound and build quality , but for a fraction of the price and I prefer the hardware (bridge) on the GMR basses over that on the Warwick basses. At this price this bass is a steal and Koval is a real gent to deal with, no complaints here, I'm completely hooked on GMR basses now..
6. intrested in trades with 4 strings?

8. No chance you'll change your mind on shipping the cab? This would be a perfect match for my TC BH250...
9. How tight is the Low B on the 33" scale? Lovely looking bass, I must admit I'm intrigued by it...

12. Anyone tried the RJT-60-B Bass VI version already?? I'm considering buying the one that's for sale at The Bass gallery atm, but as I'm still not sure about the scale lenght (site says it's 33") I'm wondering where the hell I will be able to find strings for that...
13.
On eBay now, need it gone. I will leave this up for a couple of days.
Hi bud, i contacted you before regarding a trade offer concerning my jazz bass, I'm now trying to sell my bass localy to free up funds to buy the SRC6, so I will contact you as soon as my Jazz is sold.
14.
Thanks so much for the offer. Im looking for a sale. Its a great looking bass. I bet the mods have made it stunning?
Yes they did, but I discovered nothing makes me feel at home as my first and only love, the classic four string jazz bass. Your's looks like a gem and i can imagine the upgrades make it a joy to play and easy to set-up. If mine sells I will definitely consider coming back for this! GLWTS
15. Hi, any intrest in 5 string trades? I have a made in Korea B5 bas that is upgraded with an Aguilar OBP-3 pre-amp and Warwick tuners, this bass hadn't been used for a long while as I mostly play 4stringers these days, so i had it checked up and set-up by a Luthier last week (frets are leveled, body & neck are oiled and polished & a new battery and D'addario EXL220 nickel strings were installed), so she's ready to go to a new home. I'm looking to trade for a 4 string jazz type bass and if you can wait another week I might be able to ad some cash to the deal as well.. Let me know if you are interested. 16. I've owned the exact same bass (I even think it's the one in my profile picture) and it was an absolute joy to play, beats any similar priced and even more expensive Fenders out there, the B string was tight and well defined and the pickup's had enough output so you didnt need a pre amp. I actually still regret selling it and would buy this in an instant if i had the cash. Price is good as well as these tend to go for 1400-1800Euros when bought new. Somebody is getting a bargain here! GLWTS

19. Hi, i have a modded Cort GB75 that i might be looking to trade. The bass had a professional fret level, had the pre-amp removed and has been professionally rewired with all passive tone controls.
20. Hi, might you be intrested in a trade with a modded Cort GB75? (bass had a professional fret level and the pre amp is removed/bass is wired all passive now) I was looking to trade it for an Ibanez , but this looks like it might be a nice 6 string replacement as well..
21. This looks like my old Sterling, bought it as NOS from the bassgallery in 2008/2009 and sold it here on the forum. If it's the same one, it's a cracking bass, great sound, reasonably lightweight and super comfortable (more jazz width) neck. Good luck with the sale!
22. Are you intrested in trades? I have an upgraded Cort GB75 (made in Korea, made passive, upgraded wiring and potis, frets leveled) that i'm looking to trade towards an SR505 or SR500.
