1. If this was a Sonus I'd be all over it but I can't seem to get my head around the VB styling. I do keep coming back to look though so maybe something will click.
2. Hi there. Is this still for sale? If so can you please tell me the weight? Is it as light as it looks? Also, this may sound like a silly question but can it be played like a normal bass? All the clips I've seen are of solo players, mostly using piccolo strings. Can it be strung normally and hold down the bottom end? Thanks
3. Local to London MB1. Adding your location enhances your chance of a sale.
4. Thank you. If money and space were no object I'd mount it as art but sadly that's not the case.
5. Interesting you can still get to this page from Google. http://www.peavey.com/assets/literature/specs/118131_17521.pdf But it's not referenced anywhere from Peavey's site. Shame because it looks a beauty and I'm curious to know what a bamboo bass sounds like.
6. Does anyone know what happened to the new Rudy Sarzo signature bass announced last year? Seems to have disappeared without a trace. http://www.peavey.com/news/index.cfm?article=510&s=namm
7. To offer some defence to BGM, in this particular case I think Mansons are partly to blame as they're listing this bass as a Sonus 4/2 with internal midrange control when I believe it's actually a Sonus 4 with external midrange control - http://www.zonguitars.com/zonguitars/sonus4.html
8. Hi Can you please tell me the weight of the bass? Also, would you be interested in a trade for a Stringray - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/214081-music-man-usa-stingray-5-hh-2012-pdn-honey-roasted/ I'm based in London but my parents live in Bristol so I'm back there often. Regards, Mike
9. Hi there I'm putting up for sale my 2012 PDN "Honey Roasted" Stingray 5 HH. It's an awesome bass but a combination of back problems and lack of time means it's spent most of the 3 months I've owned it on its stand. It cost me £2500 3 months ago and while I'm not desperate to sell, the money would probably be of more use so I'm hanging it out there at £2000 to see if it generates any interest. The original listing (and better photos than mine) can be seen here - http://www.promusict...?___store=de_en Thanks for reading.
10.
Wow!!! That neck!!! Where did you get a PDN 2012?!
I got it from Pro Music Tools in Germany. It's the only one I've found in this configuration (HH with shell pickguard) so I think I got lucky.
11. Hello all As promised in another thread, here are some pictures of my new Stingray 5 HH PDN "Honey Roasted". I'm over the moon with it and it plays as well as it looks, if not better!
