1. How are you handling the 6 stringer?
 2.
Dude, seriously...when did you decide that? Play what you like and don't pander to the basschat flatwound mafia.
It is written! Bassaniah chapter 2 verse 17 "He who hath a P musteth use flats"
 3. Very nice! Apologies for being a bad influence That T40 still confuses me looking at it!
 4.
Nice pillow, mate
Haha thank you
 5.
Plenty of choice at that price level. Get shopping!!!
Too much choice Needing help narrowing it down a bit
 6.
Oh I completely get that, I was meaning that it would give you the best opportunity to try the brands you're keen on in one fell swoop
Aye I defo be going there to try out a variety sorry
 7. So only the body and neck are 1958 albeit heavily tampered with. No one in the right mind would pay £4500 for that.
 8.
I have no helpful knowledge but I see you're in Scotland. If you're near Glasgow, GuitarGuitar have a large acoustic store which might help you out. All the best in your search!
Without trying to sound pessimistic I'd rather hear opinions of customers rather than salesmen of their experience first. Sometimes I feel they'll just try to flog you the most expensive instrument for your budget rather than the best. I may be wrong of course.
 9. Hi all, May be buying my first decent acoustic and am hopefully looking to not spend any more than £500 for a decent one. I can play acoustic fairly compentently so not a complete beginner. I've always practised on other peoples acoustics and have a dodgy old tanglewood at home which is horrible to play. The two brands that have caught my attention most are Sigma and Seagull. Anyone had any experience with these brands or have other suggestions? Thanks, Alex
 10. I also am struggling to find a decent unlined fretless under £800
 11. When you say Medium scale do you mean 32 inch?
 12.
Wickenbacker?
I think Jonathan Ross told me he had one of them
 13.
Looks like I'm too late I'll console myself by the fact somebody's getting a bargain and I can't play a 6 string.
Took you a bit longer than usual!
 14. Waiting for Dave (Kodiak) to show up....he can smell when a Peaveys up for sale
 15.
He hasn't said it is a Fender Bass, made in California in 1997 or 1998. Suitably vague misleading wording. Lets send Bass Guardian round to give him a slap!
I'll stick my boot so far up his @rse people will think Doc Martins make hats!
 16. What if I said I was the bidder..... (I'm not don't panic!)
 17. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1980-Handmade-Alembic-Style-5-String-Fretless-Bass-Guitar-Natural-w-HSC-/252929464582?hash=item3ae3c55906:g:aFoAAOSwOgdYyD4T Seems a bit expensive for a no-name bass. Looks awful IMO too.
 18.
No brand cheapo, from Samick, the factory that made Hondo. I'm guessing the inspection sticker looks like this:
