Tokai Hardpuncher (Black/Maple) (Sold)
£375

Recommended Posts

For sale is my Tokai Hardpuncher.

The only part thats un-original on the bass from what I can see are the volume/tone knobs. Easily replaced if an issue.

The bass sounds and plays brilliant. If my acoustic gas goes away I will be withdrawing this from sale

Weight: 4kg

Any questions just ask :)

**I've decided to re-list this as I've now got a hankering for a Fretless**

Not really my type sorry. I'm looking for a nice 12 stringer. :) Thanks for the interest though.

That bass is likely to be dated 1995-1999 and not an 80s one.

The headstock design changed during this period to that of your bass...in the 1980s they were by and large a direct knock off of the Fender design.

seems to suggest the headstock and decals changed much earlier..

As in the bass could be earlier than 1995? This Tokai dating is bit of a headache.

Yes.. They're suggesting 1985 or later... Worth reading through the thread..

same sort as yours (headstock truss adjustment, headstock I think is the same) They say 80's in the advert for what it's worth..

Do you still have this? If so, do you have any sound clips? And do you know anything and the neck width/ fretboard radius? Is it neck heavy?

Very interested, PM me :-)
