1.
Yeah really nice tasteful playing! Groooooooooovy! i've recently had the pleasure of playing the Nathan East 30th anniversary Yamaha BBNE2 bass and gotta say, it was stonkingly good! Bit like Nathan really!
BBNE2 is a remarkable bass. I still regret selling mine
2. The Bare Knuckle Jazz bass pickups blow me away. When handed a Jazz bass with them inside, I had to double check to make sure there was no preamp wizardy going on because they were sooooo good and reactive, even when run passively.
3.
^ lol.
^ lol.
4. I don't know why you would want to rip a Ritter design? They haven't got the mass market appeal of the J, P, Rics of this world... so I can't imagine them shifting that many units. If every up and coming band was using a Ritter, then maybe... but currently?
5. To be fair, an outsider reading some of the posts would probably lead to a few people banging their heads against the keyboard! Chill, life's too short! Linus whats with the edits? The thread doesn't make much sense now?!
6. Nice, but my money is on the Nord Drum...
7.
I love how the black PU's on your GB stand out vs all the white! Actually, I've been told the Windmill's ramp is one piece of ebony that's been finished just the same as the body. Perhaps by "polyestered" you mean just that? You can see the wood showing at the bottom of the slot for the neck PU. Had this bass for a year or two and played it lots, but after a change of bands it was just too white and too fretless to be brought along to enough many gigs and I had to let it go. Miss it from time to time, but at least I know the guy who has it now.
Yes - polyester = paint, same as body.
8. update your sig then kinda bump!
9.
Hey EBS freak, I so love that GB!! Here's a pretty sexy fretless Windmill:
I remember seeing this Windmill bass. My GB was originally going to have white pickups also - but I decided against it because it couldn't be guaranteed that the epoxy would match exactly the colour of the bass. I thought two different whites would potentially look a little iffy. The pickup cover/ramp of the windmill is polyestered to match the colour of the bass. I considered this also but I was concerned about the wear of the polyester with constant rubbing from the fingers - the epoxy pickups eventually go shiny but they go unnoticed compared to worn polyester! The windmill is a beautiful bass though - one which has caught my eye before.
10. Seems sensible to include this... it doesn't get much more white...
11. Correct. The mid freq is used in conjunction with mid level. Its setting the point at which the mid is centred - and of course the notch. The bright pot sounds a bit of a mystery though.
12. Are the other controls working? As in the bass, mid and treble?

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be that the circuit board in the amp had actually come a little loose. I tightened up the screws and applied a little silicon over the top of them. No problem. It may not be this but it took me ages to find as I was concentrating on the cab itself, the power and the surroundings rather than the amp itself!
14. Is your tweeter on the cab turned on? (the flick switch on the back of the cab) The bright pan pot should start to rip your head off as it's turned up!
15. Nothing beats a bit of post* to cheer up your day. *Good post as opposed to bills...
16. I'm looking forward to seeing this one... and this one!!
17. Got my camera out and took a better picture...! I just love this bass.
18. Hello Ralf! (the pirate hat is the closest I could find to your hat!)
19. Indeed - norse dragon art as mentioned, urnes style I believe, although I am no expert!
20. D'oh! Glad you got it working though...!
21. What was up with it? Have you replaced the unit or was it a connection issue? I'm tempted just to bite the bullet and order one... if just to add to my ever expanding collection of EBS amps!
22. [sub]Any news?[/sub]
23. erk!
24.
I'm still waiting for that!
You may be waiting some time!
25.
To be honest, I am not bothered about it not being rack mounted. Its just that I am touring soon and wanted to know if i should get a rack case or some other means to store and protect on tour Personally I am happier its not rackable as that means its smaller and I am not keen on racks anyway The only other thing EBS said to me is they are considering making a combo using the Reidmar head,
As for case, off the top of my head, a photo case with the removal foam interior would be the way to go... or alternatively, a messenger bag. A combo would be a logical step I guess - minimal design work.
