Total Watts

1. I asked them to build it for me. it was not built for any trade show and it's not an exhibition model. And yes it is the only one.
2. The balance is not to bad and the neck is not chunky so that eliminates the uneasiness that a wide neck can cause for some players. I have small hands and I have no issues with the neck at all. Overall a very well crafted bass.
3. It's a bass that was made by Sire. It shows that they are capable of doing more than what the world know them for. That's why.
4. This is the only made. Right now there are no plans to offer it as a new model option.
5. I'm sorry I should have been more specific. His sig amp is not ready for market just yet.
6.
Marcus doing a new Sire promo video (& his new signature Mark Bass amp in use) https://www.youtube....h?v=daYfQ1Ipf1k
The amp in the video is not Marcus signature amp.
7.
Thanks for that. I guess I need to play round with the EQ a bit more. I noticed quite a big quality jump in overall tone and sound when on a gig playing between this and my USA Fender Jazz select active 4 string. It might be cheaper to go out and get a sadowsy preamp pedal and play the Sire in passive mode. I'm not saying the preamp isn't good, just couldn't really dial in a tone I was completely happy with.
There's a little gain dial inside the bass on the preamp board, dialing it in and out should get you to your required sweet spot.
8.
I have a sire on order but I tried a mates last week and when you turn up the volume bass and treble etc it really distorts?? Does yours do this? It's as if too powerful?? Or just needs the pick ups adjusting?
All you have to do is open the pre up and you will see a little blue box with a white dial on it, that dial will allow you to turn the gain up or down on the pre.
