  1. … just bought a Sfx pedal from Gnasher, all good and would happily deal with again. Thanks again 👍🏼
  2. ... I've been playing ampless at church for years now, and around 3 or so gigs for the Soul/Motown band I also play in. Truth be told I am starting to miss the vibe I got when were were not IEM in the Motown band, however my ears have not been ringing after rehearsals and gigs! Also we can hear each other much better! Anyhow, back to the point, I use One Control AAIB pedals and a cheap Fender Micro DI that has a cab sim button on it. Not expensive if bought used and through headphones the sound is ace. I currently have the Crimson Red AAIB (Amp in a Box) pedal on the gig board, but also have the other AAIB pedals from One Control if I need a different sounding 'Amp' etc.

  4. Hey all, just sold Patrick a pedalboard. Quick comms and instant payment. He's a good BCer who I would happily deal with again. Cheers.
  5. … one thing stopping me going for one of these is all the above unfortunately.
  6. these are two that I know of: https://www.pedalplayground.com https://pedalboardplanner.com
  7. … lovely bass you have there (I’ve one in Honey Violin stain with black hardware 👍🏼). Could I please ask what the two toggle switches are for please? GLWTS
  8. … exactly why I have two shelves full of pedals!!
  9. SolidgoldFX Beta Mk 2 is a great B15 vibe pedal, also the TC Electronic Mojo Mojo is also very good (especially for the price!). I have both of them.

  11. ... I'm the chap that BassAdder said could keep the unit due to the above noise issue (thank you again, very kind of you). I did read a thread a while back on here that indicated that there has been a noise fault on some units (confirmed by Keeley themselves I think). On my various setups, most apparent on this example is when using a passive bass (Zoot Funkmeister 5), the noise being really very obvious with the settings as per normal use (gain and threshold not at extreme settings at all, I do use IEMs though) on both short staccato and long sustained notes. However the same Zoot bass with another compressor (I have a few, think I used an Empress Bass Compressor for comparison) and no noise issues at all. I have worked out via trial and error, that if I use a buffered pedal before the compressor for comparisons sake, the noise issue is reduced, but still audible to me. Potentially a faulty batch of components used in manufacture, or maybe this particular unit wasn't calibrated as well as others from the factory, I've really no idea? I've chatted to a friend (LukeFRC above) about this before and he came up with this link: https://robertkeeley.com/blog-post-archive/threshold-indicator-schematic-board/ I've had the back off and couldn't see anything as described in the blog post as it'd have to come apart to see the other side of the PCB. I've no idea if it's something a non-specialist could adjust. Either way, thank you again for the kind gesture BassAdder. Also sorry Rollin Thunder if this reply has derailed your original post, glad you're digging it 👍
  12. I’m currently McLuvin this board. Use it for home practice (using the headphone out on the Genz Benz Streamliner 900, which is sat upon a Barefaced BB2 (IEMs only now, hence sat there being used for practice, arrgh!!)). Get some great edge of breakup with all the valves available in the signal chain. Having a bit of a break from constant board construction now, hopefully put the time into actual practice (rather than endless pedal tweaking 😬). Best thing is though a mate gave me the DHA, top man 👍🏼
  13. Hey all, I've decided to move on my D'addario XPND 2 pedalboard, my plans have changed from building a large home board hence the sale. https://www.daddario.com/xpnd-pedalboard/ This has not left the house, it's been assembled, pedals board Tetris played a few times, but not actually built a board with it so is in very good condition. This is for the board only, I never felt the need to buy the optional bag for this one as it was going to be a home use only item. I have the original box, but as you have to assemble the board yourself when initially bought I’d rather sell built (box included). However if you want me to disassemble it for postage I can. The whole idea of this design is that you'll only need one board to satisfy the inherent pedal merry go round nature of effects! Just change the size of your board to fit whatever pedals who have at the time, need that bit extra, expand a bit, board looking a bit sparse with unsightly gaps, contract a bit etc etc. I'm now asking £70 collected from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire for it please. If you want it posting (UK only) please add that on. There are a few minor marks from how the expanding ability operate (on the internal face of the smaller black board bars), these are due to the design of the board. There were also some sharpish edges on some of the silver end cap internal cutouts, I deburred them carefully upon assembly (due to the manufacturing process, pressed rather than machined etc). All good though and the board is certainly solid and feels very well made. Has velcro on both the top and bottom of the rails, also comes with a bit of velcro for the pedals (Pedaltrain stuff I haven't used). Any questions please ask 👍🏼 Peace.
  14. Just bought a pair of pedals from Chris, quick transaction, quick postage and a decent explanation to a couple of queries I had. Great BCer and would deal with again. Peace.
