Hey all,
I recently bought a Le Bass Preamp off Andy. Due to unforeseen circumstances I ended up sending it back, however Andy has been a complete gent in the whole process. Quick delivery, item well packaged, great comms and even paid for the return postage. A true BCer who I would definitely deal with again.
Peace.
Hey all, I’ve had a Pedaltrain Nano Max for while but no managed to decide what to put on it. I’ve finally come to this:
… I guess we’ll see how long it stays like that ha ha!!
Hey all,
Recently acquired a Le Bass Preamp off here and overall it sounds great when used in a specific manner.
When I only use headphones and the original PSU there is a pretty awful earth hum when I’m not touching the strings. If I swap the PSU to a Cioks DC7 or use the output into my amp head all is quiet. It seems like the unit needs to find a decent earth, either via me when touching metal parts of the bass, or via an earthed PSU or amp head.
I’ve done some reading on this thread and it seems I’m not the only one that has has this type of thing.
Any suggestions (apart from NOT using the original PSU lol)
Peace.
Nice, I’ve got an MXR M82 filter and an Aguilar Filter Twin. Both have their plus and minus points but for any easy to use great sounding pedal I prefer the Filter Twin. I think it seems more musical to my ears tbh. Cheers for the link and lovely Brian Bromberg six string solo 👍🏼
Hey all,
I’ll start the ball rolling for Lewis.
Just bought a SolidgoldFX Beta Mk2 pedal off Lewis. All good in the sale, a top BC’er and wouldn’t hesitate to deal with again.
Cheers 👍🏼
Hey all,
I thought I'd open it up to the forum, I've just bought the Cog Custom Dirtbox pedal (CADe00) from on here. As it came with no paperwork I wondered if anyone knew anything about it's history, and more importantly what voltages, if any, it can run on apart from 9V? I've also got a Knightfall 66 that can run between 9 - 18 V, and a T - 47 that is only 9 V, hence the question.
Peace,
Jim.
