  1. .... I’m going to be ‘that guy’ lol, does 100% working mean the fairly common blue LED fault is not present? Also are the minor marks on the front edge of the black top sticky remains? I’m considering this, and I already have one ha ha, they are indeed great amps 😁👍🏼
  2. ... same here lol, oh well on wards and upwards 😊
  3. ... I like your technique in using the ring finger for the second octave semiquaver, I'll try and use that one, cheers 👍😁 (if that is what happening)
  4. .... cheers for the heads up. I installed 3.10 on the Stomp first, then read you’re advised to first update to HX Edit 3.10 before. Err, I read that after the fact but all worked as it should. It worked fine for me at least 👍🏼
  5. Cheers, if it’s still around towards the end of the month I’ll hopefully get in touch 👍🏼
  6. ... hi there, lovely pedal. Could I please ask how old it is thank you.
  7. Yeah, I initially thought it was an odd name, but it probably does mean 'On until April' as suggested above. I think it's just an incomplete entry with the info tbh. A lovely bass none the less. I've a Thumb BO fretless Broadneck 5er, however due to the shorter top horn I generally play Thumbs sitting down 😁👍🏼!
  8. ... and one on eBay in the US ... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184671040433?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=184671040433&targetid=878692190845&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=1006815&poi=&campaignid=9437781752&mkgroupid=95524282733&rlsatarget=pla-878692190845&abcId=578896&merchantid=109969688&gclid=CjwKCAjw07qDBhBxEiwA6pPbHnSO0zBt9Bnrspl7Vsn87v1C1f2xqJ1T84minQza4Pbrljo4lb9ZOBoCfH0QAvD_BwE ... just remember seeing one of these around the time as I'm a Wick fan like yourself 👍
  9. ... a link to a 5 string version on Reverb ... https://reverb.com/uk/item/34830433-warwick-gps-thumb-bo5-ltd-2017-35th-anniversary-2017-maple-burl?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=12200508927&utm_content=campaignid=12200508927_adgroupid=115920727614_productpartitionid=823788698763=merchantid=250592911_productid=34830433_keyword=_device=c_adposition=_matchtype=_creative=495081226236&gclid=CjwKCAjw07qDBhBxEiwA6pPbHoT4M-60GXFV2LodMBAZ5Rnp1NWgCZM9cmJtAcdYs6bklyMCmShCfxoCtcUQAvD_BwE
  10. Good idea Tayste having an extension board for when you need it 👍🏼. Lee, I’ll keep you posted when I can use them properly (soon now hopefully 😁)
  11. EDIT: Just looked them up, nice basses lol 😊 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Road-Worn-Jazz-Bass/203329020757?hash=item2f575aa355:g:ilEAAOSwFC9gZHCZ ... does anyone know if this is original or a good aftermarket example?
  12. Yeah, it’s great how things seem to have come. I’ve taken my HX Stomp off a Classic Jr and put it ‘back to basics’ so to speak onto a Nano +. I personally found I was having extra pedals in it’s loop just because I had them, rather than needed them lol. I’ve mirrored my analogue board with the stomp to see how they compare etc. All fun at the end of the day and will be great when we can all actually use them again 😁
  13. Great description there Lee, thanks for the extra info 👍🏼. Helps me appreciate how many ways boards can be built!
  14. Quick question, on the website you can buy the pickups with ‘standard’ 18 or 19 mm spacing. Do you know if this means the 19 mm one goes near the bridge and 18mm goes near the neck? Or does it mean something else?
  15. ... 2 mm copper 3 mm white outer isn’t it?
  16. ... what system do you use? I use Evidence Audio SIS ones and no breakages yet.
  17. ... just bought a lovely pedal off Ally, good comms and well packaged. Cheers.
  18. ... AFAIU the P2 Bart size is a straight swap. I’d go for the 19mm spacing option due to the broadneck spacing, over the other options.
  19. Hey all, I'm thinking of going down the Nordstrand BigSplits pickup route with my Warwick Streamer Stage 1 5er. I've never been a fan of active preamps on basses and often use the wick in bypass mode, preferring to eq etc via my board or amp. So this has led me to consider if I did go down this route to go fully passive, has anyone done this before, and if so what pots etc did you use? I've wired up loads of jazzes I've had in the past so could go for a V/V/T/T similar in control to the stacked pot jazzes (but using single pots of course). Any thoughts or suggestions folks? I also have a Thumb Broadneck fretless 5 I'd consider going down the same route, but that only has 3 holes, so it'd be V/V/T or V/B/T on that one. Peace.
