1. Hi all, just wondering what experiences people have had with the GB7 tuner. I bought one (fortunatley not at the RRP!) for my Warwick 4 string and have just had a go at installing it, I was so appauled by the quality of manufacture that I haven't put it on and it's back in it's little box. The string post has absolutely loads of play in it and when you do install it it doesn't even protrude the same height as the standard warwick tuners. To say I'm not impressed is an understatment. Has anyone else thought this or is it just me?
2. You've been PM'd again, I'll have it again!!
3. You've been PM'd. I'll have it bud.
4. Sorry, no longer for sale, please remove post thanks.
5. Just to say these basses are very nice to play, I've got four 5 string basses and this is by far the nicest feeling neck of them all. The output is high, either passive (volume only) or acitve (bass and treble boost/cut) and it's made here in the UK to boot!!
6. Humpty Dumpty Bumpty, what an amazing bass!!
7. Hi all, Just thought I'd say hi to everybody on the forum, was about time I joined. My gear, I've got 4 basses at mo, a Status Groove bass 5 in natural, a warwick streamer pro M 4 string in natural, a Hohner headless 5 string (cricket bat thing) in natural and a Ibanez Acoustic 5 string in natural (You've guessed it, I like the colour of wood, why paint over it?). Amp wise I have a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 with the 12" Speaker cab (very nice!). I've been playing for about 13 or so years (should be better than I am, if only I did 30 mins each day!!) and I play about once a month at my local church (R&B, gospel etc). There you go, that's about it folks.
8. Hi there, I'm more of a 5 string player and I've got a 1998 Warwick Streamer Pro M 4 string in natural oil possibly going if you're interested, see link below for more info on the model; http://www.warwickbass.com/modules/produkt...22025&cl=EN The neck is wenge, not ovangkol (darker and more open grain than the latter) and the pre-amp has either been modified or came as a later option. It's like the Thumb BO, first pot is volume (push/pull, active/passive), second is balance and third is dual concentric bass and treble cut/boost. I've also changed the nut to a 'just-a-nut' I as I like the brass ones better (I still have the 'just-a-nut' II though). The bass is in pretty good nick but it is used and 12 years old! If you're interested I can send you some pics next week. James.
