1. The source stuff doesn't have the traditional pot arrangement iirc. I'll check on my mwbd and confirm
2. I just received a phat phuk b from dan. It arrived well packaged and in really good time. A stupidly easy transaction Cheers dude C
3. Have you thought about the tech 21 Oxford and a power amp type arrangement?
4. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
5. patience padawan! you'll find one It took me years to find mine
6. My latest iteration. In the loop of the ls2 is a Marshall regenerator set to step phaser. With the b3k and pulsar on it sounds huge in an almost dancy kinda way! :-)
7. I would totally love to have a complete mxr board, but the only issue for me is that I'm not a big fan of fuzz ( although the fuzz does sound worth trying), and would prefer to have a overdrive. I did email Dunlop last year and asked if they had plans for a bass overdrive but was told that they recommended the pork loin. I already have one but it didn't do it for me. The other pedals you have there are great
8. I've done it before with an syb5 with exp, and oc2
9. Thanks for the clarification there. There is no symbol aside from the one mentioned above visible on the machine unfortunately. I did have an adaptor for it, but it got totally destroyed after a show last week, when it got dropped on the floor and run over! Thanks again for all of your help
10. Hi. I'm trying to decipher a symbol printed on a bubble machine so I can buy a psu to run it The symbol in question has two horizontal lines the uppermost being just a straight line and the lower of the two being broken ( ie a series of hyphens) Am I right in thinking this refers to the polarity of the supply? Cheers for any help you can offer!
11. Some cool sounds there. It will be interesting to see what the price point will be considering the change of distribution too!
12. how about the markbass basskeeper? http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/markbass-bass-keeper-1742-p.asp
13. As well as the jlo, the hardwire cm2 tube overdrive is worth a look. I use mine for general valve esque sparkle/ gentle fur. Great on board eq and the stomp lock thing stops accidental mid set adjustments!
14. Personally I'd flip the odb and the syb first and run it :- Tuner - octave- synth- drive- wah- chorus / flanger At the end of the day try whichever way you fancy and gets you to the sounds you're after
15. This is true. The md2 is much more bass friendly, and found it to sit well in a mix.
16. I have a cc and have been using it for over a year now. The darker character really suits my rig I have also tried the aquapuss, and I absolutely loved it- not enough to r Solace the cc though. I have also got a memory toy. A great delay for the money, but the cc was in a different class to my ears
17.
Too many to choose from. Maiden, thin lizzy ,stranglers ".....
\thread
18. I'm pretty happy with my rigs ATM, but if I was to happen across an old aria sb series at a good price.... I'm also looking to get the new boss fb2 and am looking forward to seeing what is being released at namm soon including the new mxr bass fuzz deluxe I am the happiest with all of my gear that I ever have been, and can't really think of anything else that I would want!
19. I always used to use the syb5 with exp pedal and an octave to get the effect on that song
