How does a Precision with a single coil sound compared with, say, the neck pickup of a Jazz?

Hello - in the second picture (the bits), are there enough parts to put together a working (albeit mismatched) set? In other words can I find two strap buttons to put on an instrument, and two locks to put on a strap? -

Stradivarius to refer to instruments made by Antonio Stradivari is probably the closer analog to Fender referring to instruments made / designed by Leo Fender. Jazz and Precision were the model names for two his instruments designs. People probably originally said "Jazz copies" or "Jazz style", but got lazy and they became "generic descriptors" or "proprietary eponyms" in the same manner as Rollerblade, Kleenex etc. I know when I visited Sadowsky and bought my guitar, their staff were very careful to use "S-style" instead of Strat.

Copies have happened long before Fender was a twinkle in Leo's eye. Strad copies have been around for centuries.

I have a J-Retro in my Super J. It's fantastic. I do miss the passive tone control from the Deluxe though.

MJT does phenomenal relic work. It's Vox Humana I'm less familiar with. Is the whole neck made of carbon, or is it carbon-reinforced? Am wondering what it will look like when it wears, as it looks much newer than the body

Top tip for anyone getting one of these: put a J-Retro Deluxe in and you have a MONSTER. -
Also appears to be a 2013 which is after Fender started getting their act together. Setup, pickup fix (possible replacement if you want better ones), tort pickguard and you'll have an absolutely fantastic bass there.
