1. Hi Jeff So sorry, it's just gone. I was about to post that it had been sold. All the best John
2. I was at the South of England Show and mercury custom fitted ear plugs were there (I've seen them elsewhere too). £110 custom fitted -I had 17db filter, but you can change that anytime you want for another £15 (or £25 - I can't remember). I wear them all the time now. I had flare audio but they cut out all the guitarist (I know, usually a good thing, but not when you can't hear them at all). The best £110 I've spent in ages
3.
If you're like me some of the song titles on the set list won't mean a thing to you so jot down what key the songs are in so you come in on the right note.. don't forget your ear plugs.
THIS.
4. Just bought Tom's iphone. Great communication and speedy post. Many thanks
5. I bought a hercules for my 5 string and it wouldn't accept the pin fully out, so I had to get the drill out and adapt it. OK, I'm tall and the pin is fully out, but the bass is standard size so I was slightly disappointed with the stand.
6. I've seen a couple of double bass ebony boards going for sale on eBay for less than £100. Would it be worth looking at getting one of them fitted?
7.
I probably would but I am simply unable to do it - I've tried.
This
8. Just bought a camera from Mike. Great communication and speedy posting. Great guy
9.
Just tried to weight the green one on the kitchen scales and around 8 1/2 ib They both feel about the same weight
Many thanks. Got to sell a bass first but love that green one.
10. How much do they weigh? Thanks
11. Welcome from someone with dual UK/Aus nationality (we still can't decide if we want to move to Aus or stay here in the UK. Think we've probably left it too long now, but my god mother is in East Malvern, Melbourne, so I'll be near your neck of the woods when we visit next year). Hopefully you'll get everything you need, and a whole lot you don't, from here
12. I do have a set of active EMG's and all the pots that would fit in this if you wanted it active bump.
13. I had a brand new Rumble 500 that lasted less than 5 minutes before it stopped working. Straight back to GAK and had a full refund.
14. We are a wedding / function (cheese fest) band, and we always start with Johnny b Goode. Gets the floor packed by the end of the intro every time.
15. What's the BassChat version of a bromance? A Deep Tone? Answers on a postcard
16.
And we're the same height!! Would be great to meet you man but I'm up in Scotland til mid October still tempted though...
And my birthday is only 3 days before yours. It's meant to be. The bass has to be yours:)
17. Go on. You know you want to. Plus I'll be in London tomorrow too, so we could meet up - saves posting

Pete bought some Sperzel locking tuners from me. Great guy. We had loads of communication. He paid immediately. I would definitely deal with him again.
20. I've had this done on several P style basses - stuck a J pickup between it and the bridge - but I've always had it done professionally and had it wired Volume, Blend, Tone with new pots etc. which added to the cost but was worth it in my opinion. I'd go for it.
21. Not at the Albert? Used to be good there but last few times I went it put me off.
22. Thats why I haven't played a gig (or even gone to one) in Brighton in years.
