1. well i've never posted in here before although i have been browsing & talking myself into buying something. i din't want to spend much on an EUB just incase i don't get on with it so was initially looking for a used one,but this lunch time i noticed that Norman's are doing the Stagg EUB34 for £249.95 with free delivery. Before i knew it my Barclaycard jumped into my sweaty hand & i had bought one,I just hope i like it when it gets here. I've never played an upright before so it should be an interesting experience for me after 33 years of playing bass guitar.
2. i have Fender 55 - 105 flats on both of my basses & love 'em to bits especially as £17.95 delivered.
3. lovely basses these, mine's almost identical except it has a black scratchplate. best bass i ever played & sounds absolutley mega too.
4. swapped basses with Tom last night & i can't help feeling that i got the best end of the deal Tom is without doubt a propper nice guy,as someone said above "one of life's good uns"
5. Thanks for all the interest, this bass has now been traded & gone to live with its new daddy. cheers

12. hi Wayne,is this still available ? I pm'd you a couple of days a go.
13. very nice
14. hi,no S1 on this i'm afraid as it's the 2008 on model, but if you are still interested i'd certainly consider a 5 string & your G&L looks very nice. cheers
15.
Im interested if you are selling, even though I already have one! Let me know, anyway. Thanks
hi,just looking to swap at the mo' really but please feel free to make a cash offer as there is a nice sterling on here that's caught my eye. cheers
16. i actually played a black top jazz last saturday at PMT it was a complete TURD to say the least. felt like a cheapo pice of sh*te & sounded pants best avoided.
17. this bass was made in 2008 but bought brand new by me earlier this year,March/April,form my local music store. it's in mint condition, comes with its equally mint SKB Fender case & all the case crap it came with. plays like a dream with damn good setup & it's pretty light too. i'm interested in trading for a nice 4 string EBMM Sterling or Stingray if you feel the need to buy this bass please feel free to hurl a wad of cash at me,in the region of £800 would be nice . cash on collection prefered.
18.
I've seen a lot of love for G&L while lurking. Fenders haven't yet appealed, but I might pop into PMT Leeds and try a few G&Ls. Thanks =]
i'd give them a ring first as they don't stock them at the Leeds store, this one was brought over from Manchester specially for a customer who never turned up for it,his loss my gain but i'm shure they can get them over pretty quickly for you. cheers for all the comments guys,i only wish i'd tried one of these before now.
19. very nice indeed i can see that you shop in a similar way to myself.
20. oh bugger i've only gone & done it again went into PMT Leeds yesterday for a browse around thinking i may buy a cheap backup bass to go with my P,but things didn't quite work out as planned. I tried loads of basses, mainly Fenders, but nothing floated my boat (including a MIA Jazz & the black top jazz was just aweful),then fell in love with a MM Sterling but decided it was too much money. almost bought a Yamaha RBX375,which was a damn amazing bass for £275,then spotted a G & L L2000 tribute with a nice flamed maple top----mmmm nice, sounds ace too. in my opinion the only bass in the shop better than this was the MM & I wasn't spending that much dosh. after a good haggle i took my new bass home & love it to bits, why have i never even considered a G & L before now. here it is.
21. now sold & gone to its new daddy. cheers
22. sold pending cheers
