1. Our current drummer uses an electric kit and I think it sounds great. I dont think it looks very rock n roll but the pros outweigh the cons hands down. Lighter, smaller, easier/faster to set up,easier to transport, more variety in sound, dont detune(lots of drummers dont pay enough attention to tuning) but most of all, you can vary the volume. We played in a hotel foyer last week and having the kit volume reduced helped lots.
2. The low pass filter on my ACG means you can feel more than you can hear, if you like that kind a thing.
3. Had to buy Barefaced, otherwise I couldn't get it up two flights...
4. My gear lives in the loft, it's done out, all nice n smart with windows n stuff. But it's still the loft. I can only dream of a conservatory :-)
5. I have a BH250, maybe we could swap with cash adjustment?
6. Sold Rui a preamp. The postage guys made a right balls up of everything and it took a month to get to him, he was very patient. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again.
7. Cheers, Sounds like Flash is the problem. The computer is up two flights of stairs... Maybe i'll have a look tomorrow.
8. It has been buffering for quite a while ;-)
9. I can't access the john east site. I was toying with the idea of putting a p retro in my ACG, but the site comes up and everything is black. I am using an ipad, could that be the problem?
10.
I found the exact same thing using one Bergantino cab (8ohms), I have not tried it in the same situation with both of them and thus getting the full 4 ohm output. To me that defeats the point of a small lightweight head if you have to then take 2 cabs to make it work for you!
It's really used as a backup amp that sits in my gig bag or for home practise with headphones and my phone playing mp3s. Tried it with the midget/compact combo last week and it sounded truly enormous.

12. I've noticed I can't load toneprints through my jazz bass' neck pick up, only through the bridge pup. The pup works fine and the volume is open. Not a problem, just something I noticed. I use the tube drive and compression regularly. Lovely little amp, always in the gig bag.
13. Is it a good swap, the right swap or a fair swap? I bought the Mo'Bass for the effects(5 analogue) but don't really use them these days since that band stopped. Now I really only use compression and a bit of octaver. Both amps are in good condition and in a flight case. I;m not sure what the Fafners go for, my Mo'Bass cost me 600Euros. I've been asked to meet up to try out each others amps, what d'y'reckon?
14. Trades? I have an ACGGraft Gallas 5 Or Fender 75 reissue jazz CIJ
15. Being dutch the Peterbuilt basses come up for sale on the Dutch bass forum, http://www.basgitaarforum.nl/index.php And the pound is doing well against the Euro, meaning bargains allround. I quite like this, http://s1212.photobucket.com/user/hans583/media/Peterbuilt%20BM%20P-bass/BurgundyMistP-7.jpg.html
16. Swapsies?
17. Sorry about that, it was a case of 'I did it on my smart phone' Got some pics up now. On one pic it looks more yellow, which isn't an accurate portrayal of its true colour. Used to belong to fellow BC'er Greeneking.
18. FOR SALE or trade for a passive 5'er Acg Graft Gallas Like all ACG's it's a zero radius fretboard and asymetric neck. Controlls = filter preamp. 19.
Isn't this the the dorkiest, most f***ing vile thing you've ever seen? Like a hippo with leprosy.
People often write LOL, but I just had to explain my sudden outburst of laughter to my wife and daughter. Hippo withy leprosy, brilliant.
20. I don't think something as popular as a Fender Jazz can fall into the Dorky catagorie
21. I think that Star-bass of Bootsy's is pretty dorky!
22. I was thinking about getting one of those.(not a Ric) Mind you I've got one of these-; But it's a dream to play, just wish it was passive!
23. It's a long time since I read an 18-page thread. In general Barefaced owners defending their products and some non-owners not liking rating their handles/looks. We also got some quality trolling and a few jokes. That made much better reading than todays paper, thanks for the entertainment. Looking forward to my Compact coming, it'll go nicely with the Midget. I'm usually onstage in an old t-shirt and jeans, and not much of a looker - the Barefaced cabs are positively bling bling next to me(nobody is looking anyway).
24. Looks great, works perfectly. Turbo charge your jazz. Great piece of kit, just not for simple passive folk like me. Open to trades. Postage is 7GBP,this is in Holland.
