  1. I sent a mail asking for neck pocket/pickup fotos. I'll let you know.
  2. But is it genuine? ive been looking for one of these... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Squier-by-Fender-JV-Precision-Bass-made-in-Japan-62-reissue-FIESTA-RED-/271728464527?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_77&hash=item3f4447528f
  3. It's a long shot, would you trade for an ACG 5 string? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/225930-acg-5er-gallas-graft/page__fromsearch__1 Happy new year
  4. I'm in drunen. Between den bosch n Waalwijk.
  5. Me too. That's gorgeous. GLWTS Fionn
  6. As far as price/quality ratio goes, this is off the chart. But selling this will leave me with one ACG Jazz, so I can live with that. i'll wait till the new year and if it hasn't sold I have to pay hard earned cash for the precision I think I need ;-)
  7. Boxing day bump with reduction to 450GBP
  8. @Scott S, I guess my search has just begun and offering a little used bass as a swap is less painful than cash. I'm leaning towards the Classic Vibe but have the Road worn in mind because they say it plays so well. Struggling to find anywhere that sells the Classic Vibe around here(holland)
  9. Lozz, I tried to swap him my ACG Graft Gallas for that Classic Series, but he wasn't having any of it. And the japanese Duck Dunn model is a little too roadworn for my liking.
  10. Yeah, those Duck Dunn fingers, not easy to come by. The rest should be a doddle ;-)
  11. Swapped my pop/rock band for Soul/blues outfit and we play a lot of stuff from the Stax lable with plenty of Donald Dunn bass. My ACG jazz doesn't do a decent P-bass immitation so I've been looking at these precisions:- Squier Classic Vibe 60's Fender Classic Series Fender Road Worn Fender Duck Dunn. Are there any other makes/models that you think I should be considering? I don't want to be forking out more than a thousand euro's and will probably be looking at secondhand stuff. At the moment we are playing this sort of stuff; Knock on wood - Eddie Floyd Who's making Love - Johnnie Taylor Wrap it up - Sam n Dave Hey pockey away - The Meters Hard to Handle - Otis Redding Born under a bad sign - Albert King Thanks for any eye openers you may have. Phil.
  12. Still up for grabs. Price/trade value is 475 GBP Merry Christmas. Phil.
  13. Hi Scott, would you be intrested in some kind of trade offer with this ACG 5'er? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/225930-acg-5er-gallas-graft/page__p__2349908__hl__acg%20graft%20gallas__fromsearch__1#entry2349908
  14. Still for sale or trade. Price reduced to 200 euro plus postage.
  15. Would you be interested in a trade? Got a good as new Boss RC2 loop station pedal.
  16. I'm gonna quit next rehearsal. It just drives you nuts. Only so many grooves can be trashed before you ask yourself "what a m I doing here" We're good friends, but I cant take it anymore. Especially live, that's the worst. Lord give me strength. Not looking forward to D-Day.
  17. Hi, I know this is a long shot but...Is it still for sale? Cheers, Phil.
  18. Who wants to buy a Midget/Compact stack so I can snap this up? It certainly does look retrotastic :-b
  19. BH500 for sale, in great condition, Roqsolid cover, receipt 20-11-2012. Amp is in Holland. Postage 25GBP.
  20. Sounds like I have nothing to worry about. I new that really, honest. It's just one of those things; when you have a new toy that's so lovely you want to make sure you don't break it. The amp is in excellent condition Purpolaris, I intend to look after it, as you have done. Thanks for easing my unfounded worries. Cheers, Phil
  21. Hi, I think I'm looking for peace of mind really.I have an Orange AD200B, which after a 4hr rehearsal felt quite hot. Not so hot that you can't keep your hand on the grille above the valves, but warm enough to have me type this "I'm a bit unsure"t thread. I can hear the fan running, it's very quiet or I'm a bit deaf. I'm playing through a Barefaced Compact or Midget. One cab is enough for rehearsals, so it's one 8 ohm load plugged into the correct 8 ohm speaker outputput. Master at 10 O'clock, gain at 2 O'clock and the eq at ; trebble 2 O'clock, bass 10 O'clock, mid 10 O'clock) How warm do your valve amps run, and how long do you wait before putting them in the flight case? I love the full sound of this amp, amp gas is cured. Cheers, Phil.
