1. You won't be disappointed. I got an ACG a few weeks ago and it's fantastic. Enjoy your bass!
2. Saw them in Glasgow a few years ago doing a support slot at the SECC. Really liked them.
3. As you're in Argyll why not get in touch with Alan at ACG and see what you can try out. He's in Moffat so not too far away.
4. Dan bought a bass from me. Good comms and very prompt payment. Top bloke to.
5. The knobs are factory fitted. The bass is unmodded and as it left the factory. Thanks for the added info. I didn't know that.
6. Thanks. It is a lovely bass to play, Sounds really good and I'm sad to let it go but with the new bass arriving today I can't justify two 5ers.
7. I'm not sure of the value of this bass so I priced on my recollection of previous sales. However I'm open to sensible offers.
8. Yep, have to agree. Sandberg and Bravewood do fantastic relicing. Warwick should maybe check them out
9. Hi, I'm selling my Lakland Skyline 55-01.Didn't expect to sell this but I've bought an ACG j type and it has to go. No trades I'm afraid, straight sale only. It's Tobacco burst with Rosewood neck. Completely stock and is in absolutely mint condition. No scratches or dings. It's never been gigged or left my house since I bought it. It played not too badly when I got it but I gave it to our own talented 7-String who transformed it into a fantastic (was going to say "awesome" but decided against it) sounding and playing bass with a full set up. It's currently strung with Rotosounds. The body facilitates through body stringing but the Roto's are too short for it. Bass will be shipped in a HSC and I'm selling for £480 inc of postage .

11. You won't go wrong with a Sandberg. I have a JM4 and I'm really impressed with it.
12. Sandbergs are great basses. I love my JM4 but I do believe one could quickly tire of this finish once the novelty wore off. I'd imagine turning up to some gigs with this bass wouldn't go down too well.
13. The rest of the band must spend every day wondering if they're next. They can't rely on loyalty from each other
14. Thanks, that's a good update. Will you be going for one of them? It sounds like a difficult choice.
15.
News flash: I have an ACGuitars jazz bass at home now. So for those wanting access to see/hear/try (without going to Scotland) come on down to Aylesbury!! As I said in a previous post "wicked!" The one I have is: 0103 ACG J Type 5HU Body woods: Alder Neck: 3 piece Acrylic Impregnated Birdseye Maple board with 24 frets. Dual action trussrod and carbon rods. Carved with an asymmetric profile. Satin finish. Hardware: ACG FB humbuckers in a 25mm wide casing. Hipshot Type A bridge with 18mm spacing Gotoh GB7 plus Hipshot string tree. Dunlop dual design straplocks. Gotoh battery box. Electronics: East UK custom U-Retro pre-amp. Volume/Blend stack. Bass boost/treble/pull bright stack. Mid frequency/mid cut/boost stack. Tort scratchplate.. Gloss finish. Hiscox hardcase.
so what do you think of the J type? Have you got 0098 to? If so what's it like compared to 0103?
16. Great news Cameron! What's the bands name? I'll look out for your gigs. I'm still looking for a band. It's surpringsly difficult to find one I like.
17. Long time GK fan here. I've used GK for years and love the sound, but sound is subjective and I can only suggest you try them all if you can then make your decision based on your ears. You won't go wrong with the GK.
18. Geoff bought an acoustic bass from me. Great guy to deal with. Prompt payment and great comms.
19. Donation made to help keep BC going .
20. Mark bought a bass from me. Excellent to deal with.
