  2. I've been a student of Jennifer's for about 8 months now and I can thoroughly recommend her.
  3. Got John at Strungoutguitars in Glasgow to convert the amp. £30, which I thought was very reasonable and completed same day.
  4. Jennifer Clark is excellent. She teaches in Glasgow city centre. She's a member here, Endorka.
  5. Bought a bass from Paul. Really easy to deal with. Highly recommended.
  6. Bought a MIM Precision from Will. Quick easy deal and Will was good to deal with.
  7. Thanks again. Much appreciated.
  8. I intend to. I've no idea what to do but I just wanted to see if anyone could confirm whether the transformer needed to be changed or not. Just worried incase some amp tech tried to sell me a transformer I don't need.
  9. I've had a look inside the amp. The transformer is model no. TTO-10864-00. It says the input is 100V-110V-120V. There are different coloured wires coming from it. The PC board has connections for 240V. It says to connect the green wire for 240V and there are 3 green wires coming from the transformer, does this mean that the transformer wouldn't need replaced?
  10. Thanks. Ordered from Maplins.
  11. Hi, Does anyone know where I can source plastic corner protectors for a cab? I need one for an Aguilar GS. My local stockist hasn't been able to help and I can't find anything suitable on the net. Thanks.
  12. Thanks for the replies. Can anyone recommend a good amp tech in Glasgow or surrounding area and give an idea of cost?
  13. Bought An Aguilar GS112NT from Myke. Really easy deal for a first class cab in fantastic condition. Sorry about delay posting feedback. Just realised this section exists, DOH!
  14. I have an American market GK 700RB-II. I use a step down transformer to run it and was wondering if it's possible to have some sort of conversion done so it can run from the UK mains. If it's possible, is it expensive and perhaps more trouble than its worth? Thanks in advance.
  15. sale completed,

  19. Hi, I've seen a sunburst MIM Fender Precision for sale locally for £180. Anyone got any ideas if this is a good price or if it could be got cheaper?
  20. I just bought a Squier fretless jazz. Serial no. s/n ic070942951. I'm led to believe it's about 18 months old (that's when the original owner purchased it new). It's mint condition, not a mark or blemish on it. I paid £150. It was advertised at £170 with a gig bag but a deal was done for the bass only. It plays beautifully and I have my fingers and toes crossed that I didn't pay too much. The bridge looks quite cheap so I was wondering if it's worth investing in a better bridge to improve tone and sustain or do you guys reckon it's a waste of money on a guitar in this price range? Should have said it's a vintage modified fretless. Don't know if that affects value or not.
  21. Hi, I'm interested in the whole rig. Where are you?
  22. Would you consider selling your GK and if so what would you be looking for?
  23. I saw the new Roachford lineup in Glasgow at the end of October. They were playing the ABC2 which is a small venue. To see them in this environment was fantastic. I had only ever saw them in larger venues and that was when Derrick was playing. I have been a fan of Roachford for many years and I too am a rocker at heart but this band are truly fantastic.
