  1. Here are my brace of beauties. 1) Crinson Precision Mk1 2) Sandberg California JM 4 3) Fender Precision 74' Pretty much any sound available in them there basses with the simplest of amps. The couch is rather comfy too
  2. I've been fortunate to have owned 3 of these beauties over the years. As I Got older the strap got shorter as they are defo long strap, foot on monitor pose machines. I decided to go a more traditional route. I miss not having one. Much love for Thunderbirds here
  3. What can I say. Traded my amp with Ron and all went swimmingly. Great chap and very honest. Highly recommended trader. Cheers Ron Col

  7. Beautiful. Got lots of gear for sale to raise dosh for something like this. Have a bump
  8. I reckon that should be sold by Christies. I think I'd be too intimidated to play her. Am sure a few of you will feel the same. Iconic
  9. Ive got a newly acquired Crinson Mk1 Precision for my blues band work. Its very powerful for a passive and has a great tone control which can take you to DB tones with flatwounds. Not for slapping but a lovely lovely thing.
  10. Yum indeed. My year of birth too. Just hope my gear sells...always the same...
  11. I couldnt close the musical spectrum down myself. I do have tendencies to over analyse tracks though. My wife hates my replaying habits in the car, she reckons I kill tracks for her by what I call audio learning.
  12. I bought the basses that I own and have done (and there have been many) for the same reason as I play. Love !!! The bass is a stunning piece of engineering. I love the curves, the way it feels and the vibes it gives off. I love the way it can control the groove of the band regardless of what the others think. BASS RULES They are all individual and have their own individual nuances whilst doing the same job. Ive traded a lot but found that there is a certain cost area where the bass doesnt really lose value. I was chatting to Stu (vmaxblues) about it the other day. He had a Squier that was incredible for what it cost, the only issue with that is that it holds no residual value but can hold its own on any stage. Its a love affair through and through.
  13. Just traded my Warwick with Stu in a 3 way. Great guy to deal with and 100 % straight up. Good dealing with you Stu and thanks again for the books. Cheers C
  14. Got a Crinson Telebass from Jack in a trade. Always helpful and arrived as promised. No hassles. A great bit of business. Trustworthy guy. Cheers C
