    I purchased a medium scale Jazz Bass Special from Paul recently. Excellent communications throughout. Paul is a very pleasant guy to deal with and was very helpful. Excellent packaging too!! Thanks Paul and good luck with your garden project!!

    I purchased one of these from the Bass centre in Wapping, must have been around 85/86? Mine had the fretted neck above the fretless. It was a great sounding bass with lots of sustain. I seem to remember Frank Itt playing one back in the day. I may still have a Guitarist mag review of one of these, I'll see if I can dig it out for you. Very tempted in a strange and nostalgic sort of way!!

    Hi guys, I have recently purchased a lighter gauge string set for my Hofner violin bass. Having fitted them, I find that a little more relief is needed. Just wanted some advice re the truss rod adjustment. Is it the usual "tighty righty / loosey lefty" arrangement? Thanks a lot, Pete.

    Have just purchased a Hofner Violin Bass from Ash. He was extremely helpful throughout. I asked Ash many questions re the bass and he always responded super fast + was a very friendly guy to deal with. The bass arrived safely and was very well packed. Hope to buy your '64 one day!!!
