  1. So should be good for acoustic bass?
  2. What’s the nut width on this? I think you had options on the us ones of that era.
  3. If you do find a suitable box and packaging let me know
  4. I’m guessing no postage option?
  5. Yep, I’ve still got it.
  6. What’s the nut width on this?
  7. Fender Mustang Short Scale Bass, Japanese made (Made by Fuji-gen,Japan) 1993-1994. All original including thumb rest. Ocean Turquoise Green with Vintage White Racing Stripes. Few marks and knocks, expected from bass of it's age, I’ve photographed them all. However it’s still a stunning looking bass all around. Fast playing neck. Beautiful signature Mustang tone. This is a pretty rare model/colour. Looking at what’s for sale retail wise they seem to be priced at around £1500 so thought £1300 (Now £1100) seemed a sensible figure. The strings have just been replaced with the La Bella Mustang specific flats. These have consequently had about 30 mins playing time. Unfortunately the short scale thing isn’t for for me as much as I love the idea! Original Gig Bag Included. I do have a spare hardcase kicking about so can pop it in that to post if required.
  8. There was one of these on eBay and marketplace for ages that sold about a month or so ago. It made less than £100 unfortunately despite the quality of it.
  9. Looks like a nice thing, where are you located?
  10. Any idea on year of original manufacture? And made in Japan? Can’t quite read the headstock in the photo!
  11. I can’t be more accurate that 8lbs as my digital kitchen scales don’t read that high. Details of one on reverb are quoting 7lb 13oz so I guess I’m pretty close.
  12. It’s pretty light, around 8lbs(bathroom scales). I’ll see if I can get a more accurate weight tomorrow but not sure I’ve got any scales to do that.
  13. I think the tone is predictable in the sense of the pick up types and positions. Plenty of bite from the jazz neck and typically growly mm pickup. Overall it is quite bright but with the the two band eq how trebley or bassy it is is very controllable.
  14. Beautiful English luthier made bass. Built by Mike Walsh, Iceni bass in Essex. Seymour Duncan Basslines Jazz neck and Musicman bridge pickups with 2 band EQ. Neck is 42mm at the nut and 22mm deep so quite a flat neck profile, beautiful to play. Unfortunately just not my thing tone wise as the band I’m in is more classic rock so my G&L SB-1 is always first choice. In the middle of a big house renovation at the moment so trying to clear out anything that I’m not using much. Mike currently has closed his order book due to demand so hard to get a bass made by him right now. For some inexplicable reason Zoot basses don’t seem to hold high values secondhand so I’ve priced it accordingly. Collection/meet up preferred but can post if a fair arrangement can be made regarding a hard case (I have a nice G&G case).
  15. Where are you located? And what’s the nut width please?
  16. What’s the neck width at the nut please?
