  1. A great bass with a lot of tonal variety as you’ll all know. Ash top with an alder body, I think this model has only been built for limited periods. It’s main points of difference from a standard L2k are that it is slab fronted (but with body contours), has wood binding and the nicer top. Condition wise it is very good, there are small marks and an odd chip which are shown in the photographs. I would say pretty standard stuff for a used 25 year old bass. Really plays great, the neck width at the nut is 1.75”. Comes with original case and certificate. I’m only selling it as I was told it was an ‘87 and wanted a G&L from when Leo was still there. But in doing some research post purchase I’ve established this bass is 10 years older so my search will continue…. Collection or meet up preferred but can post as I have a box that fits this case in, I would imagine cost would be around £25.
  2. Sandberg VM4 in natural ash with rosewood fingerboard. Dual pick ups, P bass and a musicman style humbucker. The bass has a 2 band eq but can be played both passively and actively. Absolutely beautiful bass with not a blemish on it, excellent condition. As many people will have said previously these play superbly. As much as I like it I still pick up my old mate, a G&L sb-2. Guess I’m just a passive guy! Would prefer a straight sale but may consider a trade with a passive p bass style such as a G&L LB-100 or similar. Could post if required, I could send it in a hard case for a fair additional cost.
  3. A genuine 1964 instrument. The bass was refinished to a very high standard a number of years ago. When I bought it the electrics were poor and the original pots already gone. I’ve had it rewired and fitted with 250k CTS pots, the pick ups are original. It’s strung with flat wounds. Comes with an Epiphone hard case that it’s fits very well.

  4. 1978 Fender Musicmaster Bass. All original except the pick up was upgraded to a Seymour Duncan SSL-1. This short scale bass has had a recent set up and new strings. Plays really well. Condition wise it’s great considering it’s 44 years old. No case or bag(apart from a well worn gig bag that came with it.) You’ll see these retail at far higher prices so grab this while you can. I was looking for one for ages and ended up with two hence moving this one on. I do have the original pick up which could be included by separate negotiation if you’re looking to have an all original instrument. Happy to meet up to exchange with in reason.
