I'm starting to get pangs. Anyone else with custom bass pangs?
Now I've actually visited it and held the body in my hands it's a "real" thing to me - not just a list of missing zero's in my bank account.
The most obvious omissions to me are a program down footswitch and an exp. input. But it still looks like a great box.
I'm not sure if you're talking about the OS or the G5?
As I understand the Nova series all work well with bass, except the dynamics which they're revising. My issue with the modulator is that as far as I understand you can only have one mod effect running at one time.
I have to say, guys - not to knock any of your DIY in any way, but with the range of pedalboards available on the market today at all price points there really should be something pre-fab to suit you budget.
I would guess that the active input would sound better, but you might like the sound of the passive input. It all really depends what sounds good to your ears.
Hi Bob - you're going to cause yourself all kinds of problems if you're doing this passively using two sides of a pot.
I'd recommend one of the barge blending products, they're cheap and very well built.

This is a good place to start on the difficult task of choosing a compressor
