1. Damn, that sold quickly. Makes me think about selling mine!
2. What abour arrowhead paul?
3. We're on the same page.
4.
A related question: Do those of you with really expensive basses actually gig them? I don't think I'd want to take a bass worth £1000+ out to a pub gig.
Yes, of course! If I didn't it'd be like having a beautiful girlfriend and not, well, you know. . . .
5. Out for delivery - how I love those words.
6. Looking forward to pictures
7. Let me see if I can find my AKAI PSU. If I can you can have it for free. I'll PM you in the next few days if I have it.
8. The Fodera that I've played most recently was one of the most touch responsive instruments I've ever used. It was simply fantastic. It was definitely more touch responsive than my Celinder, although overall, I prefered my Celinder more.
9. I think I've got an AKAI PSU. I don't normally go in for "this 9V is better than that 9V", but in the case of the AKAI there seems to be some kind of black magic.
10. Rapid Electronics might be cheaper.
11. It sounds good, I liked the character of the distortion a lot. It definiely stands out. I found it hard to not get a massive jump in volume when the pedal was engaged, which was something I didn't like.
12. The personal one that gets stuff done?
13. I do love my DB750. It has righteous tone
14. A big one
15. Thanks for your attention Al. I wonder if EMMA have had them custom made.
16. It sounds like you got a duff unit. I'd return it and buy a sansamp

Mystery Pedal

Those Menatone pedals get a lot of love on TGP. They look well put together.
18. I'm sure OBBM would make you a better product than you can buy commercially for less money
19. I just want to give a big shout out to Roady for lending me his B:assmaster. Thanks a lot mate.
20. Not being able to find a source is making Toasted sad.
21. Can he groove though? If you're that determined to sound like a six-string acoustic guitar, why not go and buy a six-string acoustic guitar, instead of modifying a Bass out of all recognition, so you can show how good you are on something that sounds exactly like a six-string acoustic guitar, while telling everybody it's a Bass? wanna hear some solid grooves, tight basslines and basically players who use the bass for its designed role. I remember watching Stuart Hamm do some Beethoven piece and it was just cringworthy. If I wanna hear someone play a piano concerto, I'd prefer to listen to it on the the piano. :ninja:
22. Some pretty luddite views in this thread. There seem to be a lot of members scared of change, which is kind of ironic considering that the thing that brings us all together is an instrument that was invented less than 60 years ago.
23. I do indeed play heavy music . My bass is certainly inspired by an appreciation of heavier players, Newsted, James Leech. What do you mean by BEGOF bass, Alex? Thanks all for the kind words. I can't wait to get it.
24. It's a good pedal. Troy from Mastodon uses one.
25. I just got Sadowsky photos this morning and posted them in my Build thread. It looks lovely.
