[/quote] Hmm, wouldn't judge the shop too quickly - when I had a shop (a Fender dealer) it took me 4 months to get some US Jaguar saddles for a customer. Good job he had been in direct contact with Fender as to start with he thought it was me messing him around.

Can see this coming up as a plot line for Silent Witness!

Kings Head in Burgess Hill, West Sussex had its last band night last night and is closing to become a block of flats Never played there but went as a punter a couple of times. Real shame as they had music every Friday and Saturday and nowhere else has full bands - a couple of others do acoustic/duos etc. Will be playing the last gig at the Terminus in Hailsham in a couple of weeks before that closes to become a furniture showroom!!

Shouldn't be a problem - B Stock should usually only be cosmetic or stock used at a show or gone out and been returned under the distance selling regs, not faulty. As they have said, full warranty.

Had the best gig so far with current band - Crowborough Constitutional Club - loads of people had been in and drinking all afternoon watching the rugby. Plenty of banter but once we got going they loved us. Great to get so much response from a non-dancing audience - probably 70% male and no room to dance although plenty of room to set up. If anyone gets offered a gig there, as long as you're doing older stuff and can cope with a bit of drunken banter it's a great gig to do!

If you can't switch the pub date you should do it. A mate of mine was looking at becoming Jamie Cullum's agent just as he was breaking big time. He had three gigs in the book, one paying £80 which he insisted on honouring!
