1. I would very much like this to go under my HD210, but sadly I have no spare dosh at the mo
 2. I've been through lots of different gig bags, and they all bring something different to the table, but I have recently settled on the Mono Vertigo as I really like the weight and protection it offers. I love the low profile of the bag: storage isn't an issue as I have a Mono messenger bag for all my leads etc, or a Mono Tick to attach if I just need the bass and a basic set of accessories. I've never found it to be uncomfortable on the back, but then I have the straps set as long as they go and use the chest strap too. I like the Contego a lot as well, but that's considerably heavier. Protection Racket is good too, but quite big. Best gig bag I have ever had was an Access Stage Five, but that was heavy and almost a hard case protection-wise.
 3. Anyone know the weight of the Hipshot HB2 (tuner only, not the bushing or screws)?
 4.
Gotoh Resolite GB640? It's the 'other' Fender footprint shape though.
Thanks, yes, I had spotted those, but the other style as you say so not what I am after. I wonder how much the HB2 is lighter than a regular Fender tuner, if at all?
 5. If I want to keep the same footprint (i.e. not go to Ultralites), is there anything on the market lighter than the Hipshot HB2?
 6. I sold an amp to Tom. He paid up front and kept the communication going throughout until we managed to complete the deal. I'd have no hesitation in dealing with him again.
 7. I'm using the Mono Producer bag, as I have been impressed by the build quality of their gig bags, and then found one of these for sale pretty cheap so thought I'd give it a go. Really nicely put together, as is all Mono stuff. I have the following loaded in mine:

3 instrument leads
3 patch leads
1 tuner
2 speaker cables
2 mains leads
1 socket tester
1 circuit breaker
1 shure mic with stand adaptor
1 Bassbone pedal with PSU
1 Radial Bigshot i/o pedal
1 Zoom HD recorder with stand and PSU
my usual tool kit (2 screw drivers, 2 allen keys, string cutters, 1 capo, 1 string action gauge)
ear plugs
lever arch file with music
2 pens
business cards
car keys and mobile
I have another Gator bag that houses stuff I use less frequently as well, such as guitar stands, extension leads etc.
 8. Another Mono product perhaps?
 9. I sold a speaker cable to Mart. Deal was as smooth as you like and I would happily deal with him again
 10. I bought Mike's Bassbone (my third, I should learn to just hold on to one ) and he was terrific throughout. I would happily deal with him again.
 11.
If that's too high-gain (i.e. breaks up easily into distortion) for your tastes, try the next step down which is the AT7. That's a roughly 40% drop in gain level leading to a much later break-up.
This is good advice, and there's great info here which will give you more info on this subject. I swapped out my 12AX7/ECC83 preamp valves for 12AT7/ECC81s when I owned an LB30 and it cleaned it up wonderfully. I could also hear differences between makes, but only when listening back to a/b recordings I made: live they made little if any difference in a band context.
 12. I sold a speaker cable to Ted. A small deal, but completed without any fuss, and I would happily deal with him again
 13. I vote for a refin in Burgundy Mist
 14. Very pricey for a later version Pro series, but a very nice example. I'm pretty sure there are other birds eye facing versions out there though....
 15. I sold Pablo a small amp bag. A simple transaction, but completed with great communication and the minimum of fuss.
 16. I'm in Orlando this summer. Aiming to take the trip to BC at some point.
 17. Much, much better to keep the bass at home. Your home is probably the most stable environment, in terms of temp an humidity.
 18. Hello all I only bought this recently, but have decided to stick with a back pack for leads n' stuff. It's surprisingly roomy and, like all MONO stuff, really well put together. I particularly like the removable zipped pocket inside, and the tool/pen flap. Mine is the steel grey version, as above. Only compatible with M80 and Vertigo bags that have the three D rings on the front. Condition is minty fresh. New, these are £69. I'd like £59 posted, no offers thanks. Cheers Gareth
 19. I have two speakon - jack speaker cables for sale, both made by our very own OBBM. They have been used just a handful of times. In fact, I don't think the longer cable has ever been used! #1 is 90cm long (cable length, not including jacks) and has a 1/4" jack on one end and a NL2FX Speakon on the other. #2 is 40cm and has a 1/4" jack on one end and a NL2FC Speakon on the other. Cable for both is high-capacity 4mm Klotz cable. I'd like £12.50 for cable #1 and £10 for cable #2. Postage extra.
 20. Radial Bassbone pedal?
