1. My American Special P is, hands down, the best Fender I have ever played. I would imagine this bass would be terrific
2. I sold some strings to Lee. Transaction was as smooth as the flats he bought (see what I did there), and I'd happily deal with him again
3. I'm sure the guys at Bass Gear could recommend someone suitable.
4. I'm half tempted to sell my Sandberg and buy this...
5. I'm not going to be able to make it either now
6. Maybe go to see Mark at Bass Direct, who has huge Sandberg stock, or contact Alan at Synergy (UK Distributor). These guys are great and will sort you out if a Sandberg's what you really want. PS I have a Sandberg Custom Thinline and it's perfect in every way.
7.
I really like them too I had them on a fretless which I sold (should have kept the strings!) and they have a lovely deep fundamental tone. I will get more!
I have a set for sale in the "Other items" section
8.
Parenting done right!
9. Always loved the look of this cab. Never heard one though. Really rare too, even more so in that colour I'd imagine.
10. My son started at 7 on an Alesis electronic kit. He's now 11, studying for Grade 6, and has just asked if he can have a second bass drum added to his acoustic kit "you know Dad, like Cozy Powell"!
11. "Since you been gone" by Rainbow, at a Secondary School end of year concert in 1980. I can remember my band's lineup too!
12. Surely he should have set the bass up how you like it, not how he thinks it should be. I'd take it back and get him to sort it for you.
13. The Berg CN212 is a superb choice.

Sold a strap to Colin. Deal was as smooth as a smooth thing and I would happily deal with him again.
15.
If you want a PDF that will print out to scale, then look in the attachments on the first post in this thread which has drawings for 57 and 62 variants http://www.tdpri.com...ledge-bass.html
Brilliant! Thanks so much.
16.
IIRC, Guy Lewis supplied a template covering both bass and treble side fitment with his custom thumb rests / tug bars. Unfortunately it looks like I've thrown all the ones I had away, but maybe he might be able to help you out (though of course you'd probably have to buy summat off him!). http://www.classicgu...thumb_rests.php
That's a good shout, thanks!
17.
Is this any good to you? http://www.buzzardsb...st-template.jpg
That's the right kind of thing, thanks, but I want it for the treble (i.e. g string) side lcoation.
18. Does anyone have a template I can have, so I can fit a treble side thumb rest to my 2012 American Special Precision Bass?
19. Wow, that's an amazing deal for some terrific gear. You have to wonder what the courier did to damage the cab though as PJB stuff is bomb-proof!
