  1. You’ll have to use the driver through. Or get them to deliv.
  2. Roger Pope (RIP) or S. Copeland.
  3. Lockdown is saving me from spending money. If I could travel I would be all over this and @TheGreek markbass rig:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Swr350x-Hybrid-Bass-Amp-Head-Valve-Preamp-Flight-case-210-115-Speaker-Cabs-/203272882468?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292 dont need either. But blimey there’s some gear out there at low prices.
  4. So you’re from dat Suffolk and he’s from diss Norfolk ? Love PJB cabs, what they can handle and produce for such small drivers is bonkers
  5. Managed to do it tonight.
  6. 3rd test (beats) stopped and wouldn’t progress. Ended up refreshing the page and it started the whole thing again. 😡
  7. I can hardly contain my indifference to the song, music, genre. It’s music that someone likes, and I’m sure they would hate some of the drivel that I listen to. What disturbs me is that somehow, someone, somewhere said “put your hands round her throat and shout at them, that’s what we need”. The passive reaction by the females just reinforces the message that it’s ok. These decisions are made by adults, aimed at kids. Go adults! It’s Monday morning, I’ll get off my soap box....as you were.
  8. Mick, I feel your pain. Also sorry to hear you’re facing those twin torturers of anxiety and depression. It’s difficult to know whether making decisions about a bass is wise at this time, or if it might help distract from other things that are contributing to your struggle. Just a thought, and might not be a popular one, but is it possible to swap the necks so you get the neck you like with the pickup config/body you like? I once put a P bass neck on a G&L L2000 body with a Stingray scratch plate. Proper Leo tribute. It had all the bits I liked best, without the bits I didn’t. Only got sold when I got rid of every musical instrument and gear I had, in a depressive episode. Good luck in whatever you decide.
  9. How can you NOT talk to your basses? 😳 You're cold man,.. cold.
  10. I thought it was a bit of fun. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Same here. I’ve got a 51 headstock to create and a jazz bass to put together. Not enough room indoors, and a 5 month old Rottie pup is not conducive to having sharp tools and lacquer around. Best of luck with yer project Stew.
  12. Yup the very same ones 😊
  13. Just pmd you, probably the same template as Paul has sent you the link to. John
  14. Pestie of this ere parish sent me pdfs via email recently, so should be straightforward. Might have to do it after work Stew, if that’s ok?
  15. Got a printed one I could scan and attach in pm or photocopy and post Stew.
  16. I was looking in an old bass case today and came across these. Must have bought this set years ago. Sorted and now in a safe place.
  17. I wish my actual mirror had a quantise button.
  18. Thanks for the link. I’ve actually got that very same set, but lost the one that fitted most saddle height adjustment 🤦🏻‍♂️.
  19. Cheers dude, I have an account with them.👍🏻
  20. Thanks @BigRedX what size set?
  21. So, the last of my bridge saddle height adjustment allen/hex keys has left home, sometime over the past few weeks. I wish it had told me it wanted out, I’m not one to be possessive in a relationship. But this is a reoccurring issue. At one point I had several (a harem if you like), but now I have none. So, 2 questions. What size should I order (I’ll buy a few) and where do people keep them to stop them abandoning you? All in one place or scattered in several “safe spaces”? I only own 3 basses, 2 have bbot type bridges and the 51 style. thanks. Lonely slappy
  22. Not liking the wire peaking out from under scratch plate, for a bass that’s been well looked after. But yes a white one would be nice!
  23. Golf equivalent = drive for show; putt for dough Less well known in Retail = haberdashery for bow; baker for dough.
