Do you rely on a good interference-fit to keep the ferrules in place, or do you glue them in?

Oh yes, I'd definitely take either, but I've always liked LPB and I have to say that looks particularly good. I certainly wouldn't feel short-changed with the natural one.

Quick word of warning. When asked the question, "Why have you got so many basses? You can only play one at a time", do NOT under ANY circumstances be tempted to reply along the lines of "well you've got loads of skirts, but you can only squeeze your árse into one at a time". I, errm, have a friend who tried this and the result was very painful. He says.

My laptop sits in a docking station, which gives me extra USB sockets, twin monitor connections, and (fanfare) an ethernet socket. It's the ideal solution for me, as it means I don't have to unplug anything when I bring my laptop out of my office space.
