mild personal opinion on the music, not the man himself "you're stomping on his grave!"

I was involved in a several-cornered debate on Farcebook the other day on the subject of musicians' visas and free movement in the EU and so on. One of the participants in the exchange said, and I quote, "frankly, the less music the better". I was astounded, I had to ask him if he was serious. He was. Apparently he doesn't mind anyone else listening to it personally (oooh, that's nice of him!) but he hates "being assaulted by it". I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around such a view. His world wouldn't be worth living in.

Agreed, that's what's so wonderful about music. Well, one of the things. It talks to us on a personal level, and it says something different to each of us.

"Stomp on their grave" just gave me a proper chuckle.

If I had 4.5 large spare I would certainly pay it for that, especially as it comes with the spare neck. Given what I've seen Wal fivers going for lately, and the fact that they are very much investments these days, that strikes me as a bit of a bargain TBH.

TBH if you'd asked me how much it weighed, I'd have said rather more than 155lbs. When you consider an SVT810 weighs 165 (or 140, depending on who you believe!), that's actually quite a lightweight. It must sound a bit like god clearing his throat.

Do you rely on a good interference-fit to keep the ferrules in place, or do you glue them in?

Oh yes, I'd definitely take either, but I've always liked LPB and I have to say that looks particularly good. I certainly wouldn't feel short-changed with the natural one.
