  1. Absolute top bloke is TT. Deal with 100% confidence. I've bought gear from TT maybe 3 times and it's always been top class. A man who respects his gear and understands quality!
  2. I know this as I bought one and it was a pain free transaction 👍🏽
  3. The G snapped on a recent string change so I have a 4 string (B-D) set of flats available. I normally Jazz Flats but these Lakland branded flats (made by GHS I believe) are my new favs though no longer available as the Lakland JO Flats. I should add these are from a 4+1 head stock so should have loads of winding for standard Fender style 4 in a row or 2+2 Gibson style head stock. Price includes shipping
  4. Richard I'd guess at least 800 of your posts must be for RW Jazz basses
  5. Bump for a world class fuzz!
  6. These are fantastic cabs. I have the 212m and it just loves to be given watts! Takes the low B with ease and if I had space for the 115 I'd be pm'ing Richard not giving him a bump! Hope you're well Sir!
  7. I recall this from ages ago. What are the pick ups. Is it two soap bar style single coils side by side?
  8. Sale pending - awaiting payment
  9. Back to the top - not needing quite this much filth and my EHX BSF is doing a fine job of giving me what I require...... for now!
  10. PM's replied to but some terrible low offers....
  11. Long time bump - sale fell through on this a while back so held off while some other DB680's were active.....but its back up! This is a ballin' pre-amp! It is as good recorded as it is live! The bulb is out in the 'On' switch (which is pretty common on these by all accounts) but the pre is working just fine.
  12. Bass sounds great on those recordings!
  13. My pub covers band mainly play in an established Irish bar and we have a great set which focuses on that style of music but we like to mix it up a bit too so it's not all paddywhack! We cover the Pogues etc.. but also do Dropkick Murphys versions of Irish tunes like Black Velevet Band, some Johnny Cash etc etc. It's great fun as we get lots of locals and tourists who really want to hear this music. We do play the more 'rock' versions rather than the classic Dubliners etc all style but we do mix things up. As we have a great female singer in the band we can mix in some classics like Proud Mary, our versions of Umbrella and Wake Me Up etc. Judging by the look on their faces these also go down well with punters and are often not expected... Baba O Riley Jump Around Groove is in the Heart Shipping up to Boston Sweet Dreams/7 Nation Army - we rip off the Skameleon version which mixes these two tracks in a wonderful ska version of sweet dreams with the riff of 7 NA kicking in. I should add we are a 4 piece guitar/vox, fiddle/vox, bass and drums. Not a horn section in sight! Sweet Dreams/7 Nation Army link below in case you fancy giving it a go! https://youtu.be/EI465DVsKDw
  14. Great amp and fair price for an Italian made version
  15. There are some solo neck demo's here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwou1nXPLhc

    SOLD

I use one of these on my pedal board. Compressor in one loop and drive in the mix loop. EQ allows me to pull in additional tones during the gig and it can really add to the drive pedal- need a bit more mods or low end just click in the loop and engage the EQ and mix control. Need a more scooped tone? Just set it up to taste. Really useful and I think of mine as a mini loop/mix pedal with added EQ. it's great if you have two basses but also useful if you run one bass but want an additional switchable sound. Oh plus the D.I. is great. Mine has never let me down in about 4 years.
  17. The electronics look interesting. All passive but with a mid. I'd like to know how that works I.e. Is it like a tone styler type thing?
  18. For fear of repeating others it kinda goes two ways with bands..... you get in on it early and your tastes evolve with the band or you find out about them late and devour everything they have in their back catalogue. Some bands like the Stones or AC/DC you kinda know what to expect. People like Bowie or Radiohead have evolved and pushed their sound and creativity. Think about how the Beatles evolved as a band and how they had the freedom to do so. I loved The Bends then OK came out and it was like whoa!! Then the band got a lot more introverted and soundscapy but there was always something to like on an album. I've not listened to much Radiohead in a long time but should probably check out the more recent stuff.
