Total Watts

  1. All sorted now pal. Messed about with the bridge and voila.
  2. As the title says, got a fret buzz, E string 8th/9th fret up. Got a new Sire V3, very happy with it so far, just the fret buzz. It's fine tuned to E, but dropped to D that is when the buzz occurs. Dicked about with saddle to no avail, neck seems fine.
  3. thanks for the info guys
  4. So, basically my basses are mainly 5 string. I'm after a new 4 string and have seen the ESP-LTD B-204FM on GAK for just £232, pre-orders at the minute, spoke to them stock due within 2 weeks. My question is: anybody own one, and if so, what are they like? Any experience, good or bad? All advice appreciated.
  5. Daft question. but what does the volume mod do ?
  6. Will check these out on YouTube for reviews, cheers man. Ideally I can find one second hand. The £££ isn't really that much of an issue, but, Because in a half hour set I may use it for 7-8 minutes I see no real reason to splash the cash.
  7. I'm looking to get a fuzz/distortion pedal just to add a bit of "grit" for some heavier parts, add/or parts where the guitar drops out and it's just bass and drums. The one pedal I've got my eye on is the Electro Harmonix Nano Big Muff Pi. Just wondering if anyone has experience of these, and/or any alternatives that are for similar money. Budget is £70-£80.
  8. Playing right this very second a German band called Swan Valley Heights. https://swanvalleyheights.bandcamp.com/releases
  9. Thanks for the feedback so far guys. Pretty resounding that a 2x12 will be just fine. Thanks all.
  10. Thanks man. The gigs we play aren't really much more than your usual pub/small club live music venue. Also I find any venue slightly bigger seems to mic the cab or DI the amp to make sure us bassists are heard/felt.
  11. Looking at getting a 2x12 for the rehearse room, to go with my Hartke HA2500 amp. Merely to save lugging bigger cabs around. Anyone using a 2x12 cab in their rehearsel space? Just looking for some feedback, which ones are best, can you be heard in the mix, is it loud enough, etc. Thanks
