1. lol no worries fella. You have chosen well, its a beauty!
2. I had a Jetglo and there was no difference in price? There is no substitute for a Ric in my eyes, may you love and cherish your new axe!
3. Yep cheers mate. I wasnt having a go, just seems that there are so many differing opinions floating about on these at the minute when before I didnt hear a bad word about them! And then you get this thread, combined with a few people moving them on... beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say. I tried yours with the ACG I believe and that was IMMENSE sounding... would it necessarily do the same with a stock Precision or Ricky? Must go and have a play soon.
4. Yes, it *was* a CS... But i like it in white... I wouldnt have done it to my CS if I owned one tho!
5. Hmm, surprised by this thread. Charic's rig is the first rig ive been properly impressed with for ages, yet not getting a lot of love here? Considering buying a TC setup but now... Hmmm... Need to go and try one again first... Particularly IVO the outlay
6. That white one with the binding is lush
7. Ive had my 4001 for 11 years now, it's done countless gigs. A bit like what 4000 says, i grew up with the Ric neck and tone and nothing else does it for me now... Tried Fenders and always end up back on the Ric.
8. Just the MIA P for me. Want to get hold of a Jazz tho.
9. Blimey, whoever got this for £450 must be over the moon, and with a case as well? Nutty price. Love EB3's.
10. is this the one geofio is after, I wonder?
11. A very good price for the industry standard in DVVM. The best bass sound I have ever heard was our very own Dood with his SVT2 and 2 4.5XL's. Truly immense.
12. I sold mine... ...the I bought it back a few years later. I dont use it anymore (its an old Aria Pro II that got defretted, not the easiest thing to learn on!) but its nice to have the old girl in the rack with the others.
13. And on the complete other end of the spectrum, if you like your fretless heavy (yes, really) try Leprosy or Human by Death. Amazing playing from DiGiorgio on those two albums. Not often you hear a fretless bass in death metal but it certainly works for those albums.

Curious.
15. Want want want... ...just no cash at the mo, few months yet to my (non-banking related) bonus
16. I miss my Jetglo Ric terribly. Lovely bass and a sign 'o the times this hasnt gone yet.
17. Awesome bass fella, id love this but after my latest Ric shaped purchase i have no dosh! Doubt it will be here long....
18. Extremely cool bass and in jolly good nick. I imagine this is rather, ummm, loud?
19. Someone who knows about amps and can fix them will be getting one of THE bargs here... one of the all time classic amps!
20. The volume you get out of these is frankly terrifying, I dont think you will have any issues being heard fella - worth noting that this was when I tried Charic's rig... which was an RS210 I think. Mega impressed with these amps, might have to have one meself in the near future.

SOLD

Unbelievably good price for a mega bass...
22. Im an Ampeg lover and always have been, but was seriously impressed with Charic's TC rig at the East Anglia BB last year. Masses of volume... Obviously totally different to an Ampeg but i liked it a lot. Some nice features on the RH like settings memory etc, tuner, tube tone blah blah... And as you say, very light.
23. Bargainous cab The only thing better than these are the 610's. And the onky thing better than the 610 is.... Oh you get the drift
24. Always wanted to try one of these out after seeing the review for them in Bassist mag (remember that?)... Looked really cool to me!
